Miscellaneous / Re: Released AP Exams« on: November 28, 2010, 07:08:00 pm »Remember that the multiple choice questions on the AP exam are illegal to reproduce and everyone signs the contract. Well, I am only looking for official released exams, so these multiple choice questions are not really that "illegal" to reproduce. If they were from, say last years test, then, they would be illegal to reproduce, though. 783

Yes, these are just copies of old exams with past questions. These are just like the ones that can be purchased in practice books at book stores, except these are past, official exams, making them better practice. Every 4 years or so, the College Board releases the exam given that year to let teachers review it to make their classes more adaptive to the exam. In the google serach in the OP, the pages are scans that some teachers made of these old exams.

Miscellaneous / Released AP Exams« on: November 28, 2010, 02:33:05 pm »
Hello!
Over the past few days, I have been trying to find past AP exams released by the College Board. Using this Google search, I have successful in finding all of the 2008 released AP exams. Although only the 2008 exams will be helpful, I was wondering: Is there any way I can acquire AP exams released before 2008. I know there used to be a seller on eBay who sold a group of 73 past AP exams dating back to 1990, but that item ended. For extra practice, especially in any possible things I might self-study, these exams would be very helpful. Thank you for you help! 785

Yes, actually, you can downgrade it without the clickpad, but the only way to use the OS is to use the clickpad.

Thank you, critor, for the clarification!

Well, you can downgrade the touchpad to 1.x using Nleash (although you must use the clickpad keypad to have it functional), but the touchpads can not be downgraded to 1.7.

Maybe I am missing something, but he never stated that it was a touchpad that he installed it on. I am not sure if OS 1.7 can be installed on all of the touchpads. I know it won't work on the CAS touchpads, but for some reason I remember reading that it works on the non CAS touchpads (please correct me if this is wrong).

I think he meas OS 1.7.2714, as I know that exact version number exists. The only non CAS 1.1 version that is used is 1.1.9253.

Ndless / Re: Ndless 1.7 for TI-Nspire« on: November 26, 2010, 06:30:17 pm »hmm, perhaps it reset itself while off? I guess that might be possible, but by saying it didn't reset, I mean that I did not see the "OS Loading" bar that is associated with a Nspire reset. Nonetheless, this is not that big of an issue, and I wouldn't worry too much about it. 791

One small issue I have had with Ndless 1.7:
When I turned my Nspire on, I found that Ndless was uninstalled, even though the calculator was not reset. I just reinstalled Ndless and this was fixed. I just though I would report in case this is caused by some big problem with Ndless (which I highly doubt). 792

I think the old one was in ARM ASM, but he might use a combination of both ASM and C in this version.

Other Calculators / Re: [IDEA/Random thought] 84+ emu on nspire« on: November 26, 2010, 04:11:29 pm »Well, instead of trying to improve the 84+ emulation already on the Nspire, I think it would be easier to simply write a new 84+ emulator that can be run with Ndless to use any rom image. What? This program would technically be for the Nspire, but it could be run with the 84+ keypad. It would be very hard to program this directly to the 84+ keypad. Priorities reconsidered. Starting on 83+ emulator now. * apcalc wants calc84 to make an 89 emulator before an 83+ one.

I don't know if it would be impossible to do, but I would think it would be difficult to change TI's built in emulator. 795

Yes, remove it from the computer. (Actually, that one time I had to remove the keypad, I had it plugged into the computer).
