Lets not talk about those like Bungie guys.  No need to give anyone ideas.

Verdant, now parsimony, I guess, you were banned for a reason before.  We don't ban people without reason.  Bwang felt you should be banned, and I have to agree with him.  Now you have broken another forum rule, having multiple accounts.

News / Re: TI-84+SE discontinued?

I just got this:

Quote
Danny,

Thank you for contacting Texas Instruments.

Recently you contacted us regarding a question about the TI-84 Plus Silver
Edition. I had to do additional research on this matter and got a more detailed
response for you.

TI Education Technology in the US and Canada, as well as many other regions,
will continue to sell both the TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. The
TI-84 Plus Silver Edition is an important part of our product offering and we
will continue to update and support this product.

Sales and marketing in all regions continually review product offerings to
ensure they are meeting the needs of their markets. We currently sell products
in Europe to meet specific country retail and educational markets. TI has
products available in the US that are not sold in Europe and vice versa because
they are not the best products to meet the specific country needs. In that vein,
TI Education Technology Europe has phased out the TI-84 Plus Silver edition in
those select markets.

I hope that you find this information helpful. If you have further questions or
comments, please feel free to send me an email.

Warmest Regards,

César López

An infinite amount of mathematicians walk into a bar
The first walks up the the bartender and orders a pint of bear
The second walks up and orders a half pint
The third walks up and orders a fourth of a pint
The bartender interrupts and says "I understand" and pours two pints!

604:  You have been hit by this:

Spoiler For Spoiler:

937
Actually, the sprites are 10x10 (technically speaking, they are 10x16, but the last 6 columns are blank and the next sprite is drawn over the blank area).  8x8 was too small, but if I made it 16x16, I would not be able to have the amount of the level on the screen the same as the Nspire version.

68k Version!

The door is not there (I forgot to draw the sprite) and it exits after level 1 is completed.

controls:

F1 - Same as ctrl in Nspire version

ESC - Exit

Arrow Keys - Directional

EDIT:  One issue I found with this is that the key repeat exists for all keys, including down to pick up/place down blocks.  I will try to fix this soon.

939
Nice! Will you post screenshots of the 68k version soon?

Just finished the drawing engine! ;D

EDIT:  A beta version of this has been added to the "Beta Releases" thread. :)

lol! ;D

Very nice critor!

Maybe that is the same thing making it take so many times for me to install Ndless!

941
Game engine done! ;D

Now, to work on the drawing side.  When I finish this (should not be long at all :)) both the Nspire and 89 version will be at the same level of completeness (about 75% ;))

I have tried all of these methods and I have never had Ndless install on the first try (best is 4, worst is 15 today x.x).  Could it have something to do with my Nspire?

Just a quick update on this (since I have not updated in a while x.x):

I have begun work on the 68k version of this!  So far, I have about 20% of the Nspire version ported to the 89.  About 75% of what is left to do is mearly copying and pasting code from the Nspire version.  Assuming I have enough free time, this should not take too long to do.

The 68ks will not be killed until all of their functionablity has been added to the Nspire CAS.  This is coming soon, I believe...
