The current TI-Nspire BASIC is almost exactly like TI-89 BASIC. There are very few differences between these two languages (excluding the fact that the Nspire has less commands).

We can, to a point, fake PTT with the discovery of the address controlling the LED.

I would guess not until this is posted on the U.S. website or completely confirmed directly by TI that it is discontinued in the U.S.

Possibly, running the CAS OS/another CAS program on the regular Nspire... Math programs can be much more dangerous to TI than games.
I still think games had a little to do with it, though.

I just want to clarify something here: I read on TI-Bank that this emulator only works on OS 1.7. I just tested it on the emulator; it works with both OS 1.1 and OS 1.7. There is no need to have a working version of Ndless 1.7 to use this.

I was not around during the activity drop, but from what I understand, around 2006ish, many of the calculator programmers came to the assumption that everything that could be done for calcs had already been accomplished. Also, I believe there were some inter-community wars that halted progress on many things. In recent years, things like Axe Parser, Ndless, calc84's gb emulators, the signing keys, etc... have proven that we have not even come close to accomplishing everything that can be done on calcs. More people got interested in calcs and activity has increased.

I, like many others here, will be taking the PSATs on the 13th. I plan on taking the SATs sometime around March. I really should memorize some vocab lists (it is the one area I do poorly with ) but I just can't find the interest to do so. I think I am ok with math (I got a 730 on the math PSAT last year). Grammar, I am not sure, sometimes I do amazing on the tests, other times I just do terrible.

Well, that is, if it works on the first try. It usually takes between 7-10 tries (for me, at least). The least I ever got was 4.

Hey, how come TI haven't release the news on the English site yet?
TI is slow updating all of their websites. The Nspire was first announced on the German website, I believe.

Hi! Welcome to Omnimaga!!! First, I think you need computer link software 1.3 for Ndless to work correctly. This could be what is causing the Java error. Also, make sure that the link software is closed before you start to install Ndless. If you need a copy of computer link 1.3 visit ti.bank.free.fr. The website is in French, you can use google translate to translate it. Select "PC Utilities" at the side and it should be right there. Click "telechareger" to download. Hopefully, this will work. EDIT: Also, I should note that a new version of Ndless for OS 1.7 hopefully will come out in the near future (it is available now for developers) will completely eliminate the computer installer for Ndless.
