Well Nspire non-CX doesn't exactly have the most data storage space...
So you're saying that the when I use ndless I gain access to the CAS? If so that's good enough for me. I just want to be able to run my CAS programs from my CX CAS.

And just to be sure, none of this affects the 84+ touchpad, right?
The 84+ touchpad is in its own happy little world. ChiCAS (ha! English) is NOT normal OS-based CAS. It's a bridge between the Nspire documents, Lua, and the Ndless Giac/Xcas backend. You can only use it in the KhiCAS document. It's better than nothing, but not everywhere.

I was surprised my computer could read this file. I guess VLC has a somewhat good range of supported format. :P I mainly use iTunes just because it has my favorite GUI/interface (I hate everything else about it)
iTunes on Windows has always been...interesting.

The cool thing would be if each poster had somewhat of an AI like Nikkybot and Cleverbot, but it might be hard to clone. The idea would be quite funny to watch in use, though.
Nikkybot isn't exactly portable... :)

CSS to PNG converter O.O
There's actually a nice one for pixel art in Inkscape. There's a paper out there somewhere about it (possibly Microsoft Research).

Ninja edit: x.x CSS to PNG, not PNG to SVG...  <_<

Could we get a picture? I'd like to see it on an awesome piece of hardware. :)
Same.
Real life or emulator?
It'll have to wait... for a few moments. Then you guys will see either my face, or my hands :P (I don't care, my parents don't trust you guys  :'( )
I don't think we could ID you off your hands...

HP Calculators / Re: Fast filled circles routine
« on: June 16, 2014, 01:22:35 am »
Necrobump:

Thanks to this routine, we can actually do circle-based fade-in/out animations, like in Zelda, in addition to stuff like dark cavern/dungeon effects! :D

The edited code by MacBernick looks like this:

Code: [Select]
FILLCIRCLE_P(cx, cy, r, color);

EXPORT circles()
BEGIN
DIMGROB_P(G1,320,240);
DIMGROB_P(G2,320,240);
DIMGROB_P(G3,320,240);
BLIT_P(G1,G0);
FOR A FROM 220 DOWNTO 0 DO
      RECT_P(G2,#000000);
      FILLCIRCLE_P(160, 120, A, #FF00FF);
BLIT_P(G3,G1);
BLIT_P(G3,0,0,320,240,G2,0,0,320,240,#FF00FF);
BLIT_P(G3);
END;
END;

EXPORT FILLCIRCLE_P(cx, cy, r, color)
BEGIN
   LOCAL s, cl := {}, angle := HAngle;
   HAngle := 1;

   LOCAL cl :=
      MAKELIST({EVAL(r * COS(S) + cx), EVAL(r * SIN(S) + cy)},
         S, 0, 359, 10);

   HAngle := angle;
   FILLPOLY_P(G2,cl, #FF00FF,255);
END;

You need multiple GROBs or at least a GROB large enough for each frame, because it involves transparency.
Why the EVALs? Also, angle should be a pragma.
