*Revived* I decided to work on it some more today. I changed it slightly to make it faster, but it took away some of its uniqueness - instead of losing when the character is pushed off the screen, you lose when the character merely doesn't get to the flying block in time. It works, except adjusting the speed in the menu doesn't actually change the speed. Once I optimize this, a lot, then I might add back some more feaetures and add support for multiple speeds. Download it here: http://bfr.tifreakware.net/INSAN%2-%20TI-83%20Plus%20(Ion).8xp

Cool!
*bfr deletes the old beta and downloads the new one
EDIT: Very good! Just one problem though - I don't know what exactly I did, but somehow, when I would select a certain square, the one next to it would get selected. The first time this happenned, the square below the arrow would get selected, and the next time, the square to the left would get selected.

I'll try to get a demo up sometime (which might not be until summer, but...).
Anyway, after not working on MLC 68K in months, and having a lot of time due to Spring Break, I decided to work on it. The code was really disorganized (because things were in the middle of being changed from the static VAT to the dynamic VAT, and because I also just have a bad habit of coding things in a disorganized way) and hard to make sense out of, especially after not doing much C for a while, and there were routines that were partially finished which I didn't really know where I left off, so I've just created a new TIGCC project file (this is not really a new project...just a different file) for an organized rewrite. Basically the only things that I don't need to rewrite are the initial MLC program detection/checking for the "MLC:" header, and the mathematical expression parser (the string parser was supposed to be easier, yet I never finished it...).
I'll hopefully have a cool screenshot (or even demo, but probably not) to show to you all by this Saturday, but if not, then the next progress on MLC might occur as late as in May or June, due to a really intense forth quarter history project and other things....

I tried to login today, but: QUOTE | Since the Cyber Nations forums have been disabled to give everyone a break from things due to the misbehavior of numerous individuals getting out of control recently I wanted to come here and give everyone an update on the status of the game. Along with the misbehavior in the forums over the past week Cyber Nations was also the victim of numerous denial of service attacks in an attempt to bring the sever down by increasing bandwidth beyond capacity. I worked for much of the night on 3/30 and felt confident that I had successfully stopped the attacks against the game. This morning, however, I received a report that something more serious had happened, that the source code for the game had been stolen. I have a good idea when and how this happened based on the date stamp of the stolen files and I do believe that the game databases have not been tampered with but since I cannot be certain of this at this time I have shut down the game to ensure the security of the site.
All of this has occurred during a time that was suppose to be the most joyous and wonderful time for my family. My wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emily Michelle, on Thursday 3/29/2007. She is our firstborn daughter and we have been anxiously awaiting her arrival for quite some time. Unfortunately I have been unable to enjoy her arrival because of recent attacks against the game and other distractions surrounding it. I ask for everyone?s patience and kind thoughts as I work to deal with the threats against the game and enjoy the arrival of our daughter.
Sincerely,
Kevin (admin)
Update 4/1/2007: Cyber Nations will resume game play in a couple of days. The databases are secure and as soon as some updates are made in an effort to reduce update lag the game will be turned back online. Those who wish to continue to attack the game once it is brought back online and those who wish to use stolen source code from the game will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Yeah. Dance Station Pheta is actually pretty fun. It's like a remix of Dance Dance Revolution.

I got the blue screen of death on my TI-84+ SE. : : What should I do? I tried pressing 2ND-ALPHA-DELEETE, but no luck. Here's a screenshot to prove it: EDIT: D**m, I have an idea...the new blue backlight I installed might have something to do with it.

Sure! And now that I have Spring Break, I'll probably have more time to work on this.

It actually looks pretty cool, and I think I would buy one but:
- I don't really need one (it still looks cool though, but for school, I already have a TI-84+ SE, a TI-86, a Voyage 200, and my sister's TI-89 Titanium)
- I don't have the money
- My parents don't want me to get any more calculators, and my sister would shun me if I got another calculator
It looks like it would be fun to mess around with and program for, though. The thing is, I might enjoy programming for the TI-83+ series more than this calculator because it is much more popular, and people that I know at school could try my programs. Also, despite the CASIO fx-9860's speed and other cool features, I think that TI's 68K series (TI-89, TI-92, Voyage 200, etc.) has the best symbolic manipulation around / mathematics capabilities (at least until the TI-Nspire comes out).
