THE POST 11361458 B) :haha:

Looks nice I know there are a few Z80 tutorials out there, but I think a good one is needed that explains all of the basics really well for beginners and teaches whatever the other tutorials didn't teach. A few problems though: 1. IX is mentioned as an 8-bit register and a 16-bit register. 2. You said QUOTE | Ok so these registers have limits though.
8bit registers can hold values -256 to 256 16bit registers can hold values -65536 to 65536
|
I think you might want to re-check those values.
There might be more, but I just skimmed through.
EDIT:
QuoteBegin
--> QUOTE | e.g in BASIC you have vars like the whole alphabet among others but in ASM you have "virtually" 8 registers that you can use.
|
I guess you could say that, but it makes it seem like assembly only has 8 places to store data, at least to me. Assembly pretty much has the entire calculator's memory, including BASIC variables. Maybe there is a better way to put it?

If he/it is really a bot, which I doubt, then his/its mail host is quite ironic ( http://www.cashette.com/myCashette/CashetteMail/homepage.htm). QuoteBegin --> QUOTE | Too much spam?

I see what you mean. It probably would be a little slower and would require an error checking mechanism, which would make it even slower. I might just leave it as it is now though unless I encounter some horrible problems or many people start to complain.

No, that's part of the insanity in the program  . I could remove it, but it would require a little bit of work and would slow the program down and increase its size. If you and a few more people think that it's horrible this way, then I can change it, but it's not going to be one of my priorities.

Here's a screenshot of Insanity for the TI-83+: I kind of changed the way the TI-83+ version works. Right now, the user must go to the weird objects flying towards them instead of dodging them. It's pretty much finished, except it's buggy, it's running abnormally slow (I want it to be an insanely fast-paced game ) and I need to implement multiple speeds. EDIT: Insanity TI-83+ 1.0 Alpha 1: http://www.box.net/public/ke9t6gjkncAlso, this is an alpha version, so it might crash your calculator or something. It shouldn't though, but just in case, I would archive/backup any important programs you have.

5 picture variables, 50 integers, 50 decimal numbers, and 20 strings. There are other variable types, including MLC 2-only variable types, such as pointers, that I don't know how many I will allow yet. I can increase the amont of variables, and even make it unlimited (limited to only the amount of the calculator's memory, but it would be a bit tricky).

I've now implemented integer variables, floating (decimal) variables, and character variables. I'm working on probably one of the most annoying parts - expression parsing. So far, MLC can store an integer constant to an integer variable.

Including Chicago.
This reminds me of something that happenned today.... I don't really feel like talking about it, but I ended up walking all the way home from a place that's kind of far away from my house and my mom got mad at me for taking so long because of some people who were in a group being...not very friendly.
The thing is, I'm shy at school. But, I'm strong, especially for me age and weight. I was on the wrestling team, but I quit because of a lack of time. Anyway, even in their group (which included somebody and his older brother), I still probably could have taken a few down, but I didn't feel like it would be a good idea....
Many people in my school get me really annoyed. No, I don't mean that they repeatedly sing some dumb song over and over near me or something like that. Here's what I mean: I'm incredibly nice to them, doing them favors left in right, all of the other "cool"/"popular" people like them so they act kind of nice towards other "cool"/"popular" boys and girls, but if there is somebody who isn't considered cool or whatever, they act horribly towards him/her, even if he/she has done a bunch of favors for them and has always been nice to them, which gets me upset.

I like "CDI" because it is short. Zeromus sounds better though, to me.
