If you thought the 3-D environment was cool, I made a program that lets the user rotate a 3-D cube vertically and horizontally, all in pure TI-BASIC (which required a lot of mathematics). B) Here's a screenshot of it running on a regular TI-83+ (and note that it is unoptimized): I'll try to get a download link up soon.

http://omnimaga.dyndns.org/index.php?showtopic=228Looks cool. B) Also, it's agonizingly slow on the TI-83+ and TI-83+ Silver Edition?. I would think that it would be faster on a TI-83+ Silver Edition. Also, it's not agonizingly slow on the TI-84+ though? I thought the TI-83+ SE ran as fast as the TI-84+. o.o

I'm using TiLem .972 for Windows to emulate the TI-83+.

For example, let's say that a "0" represents an off pixel and a "1" represents an on pixel. If there were:
00000000 01000010 00000000 00000000 01000010 01111110 00000000 00000000
On the screen (a smiley face), I could use my program to turn that into:
00000000 00110010 00100000 00100000 00100000 00100000 00110010 00000000
or a side-ways smiley face.

Here are screenshots of two programs I made in TI-BASIC for the TI-83+: * bfr takes screenshots Hmm...the program that flips the area of the screen 90 degrees clockwise isn't working on my emulator for some reason. The emulator emulates a TI-83+, and I programed this on a TI-84+ Silver Edition, and it worked on there. That might have something to do with it.... I guess I can only show you the screenshot of the 3-D realm thing in TI-BASIC. The character, or the "H", can move left, right, forwards, backwards, and can jump. I might make another 3-D thing later that uses a different technique.

I didn't want this to become a huge deal, but since it already has.... Some of you may not like Kevin Kofler, but other people worked on http://tigcc.ticalc.org/about.html as well. I don't hate Tyler2, Kevin Kofler, or any of the other people at #tigcc. They have helped me a lot with TIGCC C programming. They just have their own feelngs toward TI-BASIC and xlibman, which I don't not agree with. Just note that they aren't really bad people; they can just be harsh towards people for certain things, and they just particularly don't really like TI-BASIC programmers for some reason, according to xlibman. I was kick-banned for breaking a rule that I didn't know about, or as Kevin Kofler put it, "espionage". It apparently was listed, and I should have payed attention to it. I can understand how Kevin Kofler would be upset. I told Kevin Kofler that I wouldn't do anything like this again and I apologized; I don't hate him, #tigcc, or TIGCC, and I wouldn't try to put #tigcc, TIGCC, or him down. Cheeseboy was wondering why xlibman disliked Kevin Kofler and some of the people at #tigcc, and xlibman said something like "because they are rude and hate me because I like basic". So, I showed him, and xlibman, some of the things they were saying. Somebody else who I will not name was doing something similar, and I'm guessing he queried Kevin Kofler and quoted " bfr showed me the logs" or something like that. Just so he knows, if that is the case, I don't hate him either. He was just trying to make sure everybody stuck to the rules.
I would just like a second chance at #tigcc. I'm not going to do anything like this again, and I didn't mean to break any rules in the first place.
I probably would have more to say, but I can't remember it at the moment, so I'll just post what I have so far .

Text Tools 1.1 is now availible! Here's a new screenshot of a new effect it can produce: I call it "wave" effect, because the text is put into kind of a wave shape. I used the trigonometric sine function (sin() on the TI-83+) for this effect. I also fixed a small problem in the spiral effect program. I'll post a download link soon for Text Tools 1.1, because it is too large to be put into an attachment.
