Does anybody know anybody else here in "real life"?  Maybe you go to the same school, or work at the same place as somebody else.  Maybe you and somebody else are neighbors.  I'm just curious.

I'll make a greyscale tutorial.  With sprites, pics and moving greyscale sprites.  Oh, and the technique to make good greyscale pics.

It would be great if you do that.

Also, like Spelli said, welcome to the forums.   :gift:party3.gif

TI Z80 / Calcman
« on: September 04, 2006, 11:14:00 am »
:Dbiggrin.gif  I probably will, sometime.  I should probably read all of these TI-83+ BASIC guides that are out now, first.  I submitted it to ticalc.org and calcgames.org (the one at calcgames.org is has some updates from the version submitted to ticalc.org, because I submitted the one to calcgames.org later - I'll try to submit an updated version to ticalc.org).

Click http://bfr.18.forumer.com/ to view all of my major projects.  There is also Metroid 68k, this, and maybe a few other that have slipped my mind at the moment....  :Dbiggrin.gif

I think I remember seeing another Calcman somewhere....

I searched it at www.ticalc.org, http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/277/27781.html, http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/371/37120.html, and http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/11/1111.html turned up.

I also might port this to assembly, when I have time (and finish some of my other projects).

And I know also started another (but very small and simple) project - Calcman Minigames.  It's already finished though  :Ptongue.gif (remember, it's called  Calcman Minigames ;)wink.gif ).

I also have some great news - Madskillz, the person who originally was going to port MLC to the TI-83+ series but never finished it, offered to help me.

Calcman is one of my first programs I've ever made.  It is in TI-BASIC for the TI-86.  You can learn more about it http://bfr.ticalcs.net/calcman.php.

The reason I'm making a topic about this now, is because I thought of an idea for a program yesterday, and just finished it this morning.  It is called... "Calcman Minigames".  It features minigames with your favorite (or not) calculator character, Calcman (who is just a Greek symbol =p).  Here is a screenshot:  user posted image
I'll try to post a download link soon and maybe even port this to the TI-83+ series.

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Omnimaga - The RPG

XDsmiley.gif

I've had hardly any time to spend on the computer to do stuff that I want (browse forums, code) since school started (literally like one to three minutes a day).  So, unfortunately, this means that I'm not going to be really active Monday-Thursday, and I'm not going to have a lot of time to work on Omnimaga - The RPG and other projects.
