Make a new one, name it TOMEK, put the MIND code in TOMEK using 2nd-Rcl, then reupload it.

This is mine, in case you were all wondering (with stats for Noel):

Bad news is that I uploaded it and found out about the misname only after the deadline.
Also, my program is bigger and is actually seven, but it has AI.

What if you accidentally used MIND instead of TOMEK?

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Bug with bans
« on: February 02, 2014, 09:23:02 pm »
Chrome is probably using stuff out of your cache when using Omni. To clean your cache in Chrome, go to Settings -> Tools -> Clear Browsing Data. Then select only "Empty the cache" and click the "Clear Browsing data" at the bottom of the page.

Then try logging into Omnimaga again.

I know this erases all of your cache but Chrome is stupid like that. You can't erase stuff based on websites you visited, it's either all or nothing.
I already tried emptying the cache, and that didn't fix the problem.

A week ago, I was banned, while I was using Chrome. Now, even when I can post on other browsers, I can't do so on Chrome. Please fix the bug in which after getting banned, being able to visit the site after the ban is lifted is possible without clearing cookies.
If you have found an issue with the site please record it with http://ourl.ca/issue

More information will be required then just you are unable to post with chrome.

Its most likely that Chrome is caching things that it shouldn't again and in that case there is nothing we can do.
In that case, I've reported the issue.

What error do you get?

Is there a red warning at the top of OmnomIRC telling you you're banned?

It gave the same message as the time when I was banned.

Also, am I supposed to be still banned on IRC?

General Calculator Help / Re: TI-85/casio fx7400g plus help
« on: February 02, 2014, 08:15:03 pm »
Hiya, this should be the right section actually. Also welcome to the forums. :)

Unfortunately, not many people use those calculators anymore, but hopefully someone knows a way to use them on newer computers, including building an parrallel to USB converter or something. I don't know where to find a FX-7400g compatible software, though. FA-123 would most likely be the software name, but the cables are very rare.

To program the TI-85 you can use TI-Graph Link software (the TI-85 version), which is free, but will not run on 64-bit systems (except via VirtualBox or Virtual PC)

You can consult this link for advice, and I'm pretty sure TiLP can interact with TI-85s.

Art / Re: Mockups "please say this is going to be a game"
« on: February 02, 2014, 07:20:00 pm »
Mockup of what could be a remake of an early Illusiat game on the Casio PRIZM by abusing RecallPict and Text commands to erase stuff:

Yay for 3-bit pixel art :D

Same method as the Zelda mockup posted a while ago, basically this pic is recalled with rocks blocking all sides, then the program would check which path is open then erase the rocks using spaces in a Text command. The sprites would be ASCII art. Recalling the pic would actually be faster than erasing the rocks.

The only problem, though, like the Zelda thing, would be that most rooms would look identical, except rock locations, and since there is no known way to draw 8-color pictures on a computer, you would need to draw them pixel by pixel using a program, so get ready to use a few sets of batteries to do so.
Is using those commands fast enough?

blue_bear_94: I apologize for any disturbance this topic causes for you as you code.
Don't apologize to him, he should be apologizing to you. He has been quite rude to everyone in this topic.

I'm sorry for being rude to all of you, in that case.

Also, why wait for 2.x migration when you can update the mission statement right now?

I see it that Omnimaga is a dynamic community, it just happens to be that the main focus currentley is on calculators, but that doesn't mean that anything else would be diss-allowed.

Doesn't mean everything else would be allowed either.
But this detracts from the main focus.
Hey guess what. I'm an admin, and the admins have said that this is allowed. You've also been rude to people for quite long enough. Enjoy a temp ban.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, Omnimaga is not very strictly devoted to calculators. In fact, it is less so than other sites. We do computer programming and music among other things. Primarily, we make and play games and those games have inspired a number of programs.

Yeah, so programming in general.

On another note, nothing related to Minecraft should really fit in Omnimaga either. It's a distraction from programming calculators and most other activities, and some users can't control their playing.
Anything fits in any forum if there is an appropriate subforum.
Moreover, sorry for clichés, but coders are usually geeks and geeks are usually gamers so it is not surprising to have people here who play games and want to share their experiences with others.
True, but games take time from coding.
