I already did, but TI wants us to use 2.55 MP. Also, I feel much happier using 2.43. Also, the TI-83+SE looks a lot better than the TI-84+SE.

The TI-83+SE has no crappy MP that TI is goading their users to have, due to the greater amount of TI-83+BE users.

No. I think they were leaked. TI never meant to distribute them to the public.

I'm assuming you are using a TI-84+ (SE). [Edit: or I think it works on 83+ 's now iirc] To run archived programs, do this:

1) Press "2ND"
2) Press "0"
3) Scroll all the way down the the 'P' section
4) Find "prgm" and press enter
5) Type in the program name that you wish to run
6) Press Enter

OR....

1) Find desired program in program list
2) Press "Enter"

:P
It gives me ERR:ARCHIVED.

BTW, Why doesn't the editor work in 2.55MP?

Could you elaborate on that? (which editor isn't working, is the thing you are working on archived, etc.)
It crashes. Luckily, I downgraded to 2.43.

I have zStart working, on 2.43. How do I run archived programs now? Thanks in advance!

Okay, here is the zip file!

This update ends with receiving the key and solves the permanent death problem.

Edit: My TI-84+SE crashed today but fortunately I didn't do very much since the previous update.

Edit 2: Again, due to zStart, my calc crashed, but the changes made were in the _theta_SR3NEWC program, which is normally archived. Anyone interested in the horror stories of both crashes can PM me. I also started a guide. If interested in reading it, PM me.

If I had to pick between the 83+SE and the 84+SE, given the necessary link cables, then I would pick the 83+SE.

You know you can still find 2.43 in the Singapore version of TI's website?
Also, what happened to your old calc?

940
I believe that was what the OP meant.

What OS does it have?

942
or a small chunk of Asm in a helper program, that allows you to use TIOS's archive and unarchive commands.

There's lots of options

I used that in Sunrise 3, but it would wear down your flash quickly.

943
Thanks for the info. Hopefully I won't be buying an Nspire soon.

yes it works :) Xeda currently is away right now without much internet access so if you need his assistance, shoot him an email and he might respond within... some time :P
You mean her assistance.

Title it "Recovery from the Nspire's Attack." Do you think something else might have caused this inactivity?
