And Google would erase all of the news stories and shut down papers that didn't comply in taking down the stories, and then kill all the employees.

Google might actually make good masters for us. *NOT* Everything would be nice and cluttered, and everything we did would be monitored and noted in their massive Google Slaves database. All of the past stock holders would become rich and powerful as kings and we would be stuck being peasants with a short leash.

Look. If anybody is going to take over the world, it's Google.
Google has too much power. They can track your history without you even logging in or even using Google at all! They could use this information to blackmail you if they wanted. Google can see your house from space. Having sex on the beach? Google can let that stay on Google maps until you sue them, and the pictures will stay on the internet forever. Google is almost literally taking over the internet! Just think of poor facebook vs. big bad Google+. Google could probably censor this damn post if they saw it fit and I couldn't do jack shit about it. Whoever controls the internet and Billions of dollars in the markets, and the ads on the internet, and countless websites, and all that google controls, controls the world. If Google wants World Domination, there is not much stopping them.

Yes, but given that you have the materials, you can make these costumes while running even. That's the point. And I spent over an hour on this...

Miscellaneous / Re: Do you think you are a nerd?
« on: September 23, 2011, 08:52:14 pm »
I am more of a geek but in between geek and nerd.
My brain has an awesome tendency to skip over obvioussteps in math problems. This simple algebra problem that is supposed to take several steps (at least in school) takes me one step:
3x = (18/2)
The steps are supposed to be:
18/2=9
3x = 9
divide both sides by 3
x=3
That is three steps. My brain automatically skips unessicary steps like that.
I immedeately know that 18/2 is 9 and in the exact same instant my brain already sees that there are three threes in nine.
Boom. Learning how to see apparent relations and patterns turns a multi step problem into a simple calculation.

that should be in about nine weeks!
