The release may or not come this Sunday, because not as much feedback came from the beta testers as we would have hoped, and I'm not quite ready with the level editor. (hey, I've been busy)

That looks pretty sweet. The Game Menu leaves a little to be desired, and the level select screen is decent enough, but the thing that really impressed me the most was the iOS like GUI demo. Looks very cool!

EDIT: Wow, pretty bad necro for Xeda and me. Is this project still being updated?

Nah, all the levels are designed. We might make a thread for posting your own level packs, though...I think I'll do that.

yeah, I think we all just need to kinda...chill out. Peace, brothers. Haters will hate, whatever, Axe/BASIC/ASM programmers will program their fav language, regardless of if you show them a rock solid argument for why you think it's not as classy or elegant or blah as another language. I guess it's more about yourself, how you choose to react to things. IMO, language debates never really create anything but contention, not because people say mean things, but because people over react...anyways.

Loadable levels will be appvars.

Like what stuff specifically? :P

well, for that thread I linked to I have a 768 byte appvar that's basically just a picture, and I copy it to L6 every frame. I was just wondering if you're doing anything like that, and how you would fit that much data into a single program. But yeah.

Honestly, I don't ever use Output(). I use Fix 1 for large font and the Text() function, so I've never really bothered to figure out the Output command syntax.

Seriously, I use Axe ALL THE TIME (I haven't touched ASM and left BASIC a looooong time ago), so you might expect me of all people to get at least a little worked up about this, but really, I'm having a hard time getting mad at anyone. I don't think it's quite fair to get mad at DJ_O because I think in large part he made this topic for precautionary purposes mostly, so yeah. Keep in mind, all this is just something to keep an eye out for.

All of my coding is on-calc, on the built-in program editor, in Axe.

sigh...TI-connect is a piece of shiz. Try clearing RAM, replacing batteries, re-downloading Zedd, re-sending, running as admin, etc.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist

the thing with using lots of DrawInv statements is that it's slow. I agree with Freyaday.

Also, have you considered my past idea? It was being able to absorb appvars into executables, the way you can with TI-OS pictures by going like this: [Pic1]->Pic1 . It would be awesome to be able to go like this: [appvBLAH]->GDB1
