But remember, a simple LED has minimal cost (a few cents), and who knows - maybe one day some programmer will find a cool use for it.

The revival is indeed amazing. We never thought that TI-Boy was possible (I asked on Detached Solutions four years ago, and several people said so), but it happened. We never thought finding TI's private keys was possible, but it happened. People despaired at the lack of Nspire ASM programming, but eventually it was possible. Just shows, never say never! Anything can happen. All hail Omnimaga! Nearly a decade and going strong again!

Hmm...that is rather strange; unfortunately I use Ubuntu, not Arch, so there's not much I can help with If all else fails, you can try compiling arm-elf-gcc using info from my UTI thread here (look at the last post for a tutorial link).

Some people in vacations sometimes messed up and accidentally went to the canadian city instead of the one in Australia.
lol, that would make for a sad, sad tourist.

Yeah, i know what you mean. Fzero and some of Calc84's other projects were what brought me originally to Omnimaga. To see something so awesome, and a site that was so game oriented was excellent
(and on a side note, Dj, it seems your post says Re: Ques o.O)
Yeah, I discovered the new Omnimaga back when it had around 0 posts on it, and then left. Then a while later I discovered F-Zero, and that was what brought me back here. calc84 is awesome

that has to be the most delayed feature on ticalc to date I'm glad it got featured though. Contra is a true pure-BASIC masterpiece.

TI-Connect is terrible software. It fails to work all too often. In fact, the method by which TI handles linking is terrible. I wish they'd just do direct file transfers (i.e. the computer sees the calc as a disk drive). Wasn't BrandonW working on something like that? Periph8x, I think? @Myntal: If all else fails, try TILP.

I always have troubles remembering how to store programs on the Nspire. It's insane how hard they made things compared to the simple TI-83 and 85 series. Even the 89 is easier to use.
This. OS 2.x seems to be even worse than 1.7. TI is getting waaaay to feature happy (yet the important ones still aren't appearing).

We don't need keys to do that. However, decompiled code is nowhere near as readable as compiled code.

We don't have it, ExtendeD and the Ndless dev team do. There's no way we'd pirate software written by other members of the community - it is up to them when to release it. And the Ndless 2 for 1.7 and RunOS are merely in PoC stage, nowhere stable enough for public use. And please take that link to the torrent down, as illegal content is not allowed on Omnimaga. On the other hand, should ExtendeD release Ndless 2, torrents would be a great way to insure it lives. Just sayin'...

It stores the program. The program won't work unless you do that.

Please read it aloud. Don't mean to criticize/patronize, but it looks quite boring due to lack of sentence structure variety. Also, don't repeat "evil", find more words to replace it so that you don't sound repetitive.
Depending on how your paragraph is being graded (and possibly the topic), it may be better to try and avoid using any 1st/2nd person words, including I, me, my, we, you.
Repeating the word "evil" seems OK since the essay is about "evil". Otherwise, it would be like writing an essay about pomegranates and trying to find synonyms for "pomegranate".

Actions become evil when one does them to intentionally harm another. One could also be considered evil when trying to instill fear into a person. An evil person knows what they are doing is wrong, knows the consequences, but does not care about them. Evil can also be brought into the realm of one’s morality. Depending upon what a person believes is right, anyone or anything that threatens their beliefs can be evil. During the Holocaust, the Nazi’s were doing what they thought was good, but to the rest of the world, it was evil. Evil can be summarized as a selfish negative action that causes an even more negative reaction. Usually, the doer of such actions benefits from them. Sometimes, they do not, and the person does it solely because they want to do what they please, whether that is to kill someone, or rape another. As far as people being born evil, I believe that evil comes from the way one is raised. There could have been a horrible experience in one’s childhood, thus causing one to lose a grip on reality and slip into a world of evil. In this world, one's mind is filled with negative thoughts, and even though one knows that what one is doing is wrong, one chooses to ignore both morality and common sense. In conclusion, evil is usually a selfish act that damages another person. People are not born evil, but are instead influenced by their families and surroundings to become evil. Evil acts lead to more evil, and it is extremely hard for one to leave this cycle of doom
Fixes in bold in the quote above.
