General Discussion / Re: The (new) DJ Omni Music Torrent!

DJ, one more rate up and your respect will be unable to be found :P (404)
I never managed to snatch the new torrent file (and the link on page 3 is dead), so how should I get it to 100% so I start seeding?

DJ, it should still be fine. THe wonderful thing about bittorrent is that the original data provider can disappear and the torrent still work. However, neither Netham's nor alberthrocks's tracker is working, so if his goes offline...

Apps slow the calculator down any time it has to look through them. So for instance, pressing the apps button, or going to the memory menu are slow when you have a ton. Deleting them is also slow if there are a lot. I see this all the time because when I am giving people games, I usually delete the 30 or so useless apps on their calc and it is really slow.
I've done this too. Deleting them takes a very long time.
One of the nice features of Omnicalc helps with the apps menu part, though :)

Fun video ;D. Linux was absent, though...
This is definitely feasible; it would just be an extremely difficult undertaking.

ASM / Re: Some general Questions

n is unimportant, and I'm not sure it's affected by 16-bit additions/subtractions.
As for s and z, I do agree that they are changed, but that's unimportant if you're dealing with c (and p, I believe)
It's better in some cases, I guess. ;D

TI-BASIC / Re: Quadratic Formula

Indeed :) A number that's already "imaginary" (even if that imaginary part is 0) will not give an error when you try to take its square root.

That is indeed the method reported by WikiTI ;D
Sometimes the "logical" method isn't the best :P

(sorry, but I had to optimize a little  ;D)
And I has to optimize it more. :P Also, your code doesn't work; it would have to be √(B²/4-AC)/A :(
Code: [Select]
:ClrHome
:Disp "AX²+BX+C=0
:Prompt A,B,C
:Pause -(B+{1,-1}√(B²+4i²AC))/(2A
Doesn't even change the mode settings ;D

If you have Windows and go to where I directed, you can see the partitions :)
Just don't mess with them :P
Also, Windows 7 (and maybe Vista and earlier) has the... interesting... ability to resize the partition Windows is on as you are running Windows. I have used it (to create space for Linux) and it seems to work :)
