TI Z80 / TI-84 Plus CE (Non-SE) Gameboy Emulator?
« on: September 30, 2015, 11:46:07 pm »
Hi all, I was wondering if there was a version of TI-Boy that is compatible with the TI-84 CE non SE version. Also, any game recommendations would be awesome too! I love classic rpg's and roguelikes, but games that are great class time-killers are totally welcome too. Thanks for the help :)

TI Calculators / TI 84 Plus CE won't connect to PC
« on: September 27, 2015, 04:39:42 pm »
Hi all, when I installed ti connect CE on my computer, it won't recognize my TI-84 Plus CE. I recently purchased the calculator and plugged it in, and it wont recognize it on the software. Is there a certain driver I should install? My computer is an HP Omen 2015 with windows 10. Thanks :)

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Roguelike on Nspire
« on: July 17, 2013, 08:06:18 pm »
I was wondering if anyone was interested in making a roguelike for the nspire. I think a port of brogue would be awesome!! It would definitely take me back to the good old days and still be really fun :)

Would lower ram mean worse processing speed compared to the cx cas? Do you know what language the calc is written in? This looks like a very promising handheld. I saw someone else post about other touchscreen calcs. Can you guys name a few? Thanks guys

TI-Nspire / Earthbound Nspire port
« on: December 04, 2012, 10:23:39 pm »
This game is a funny and quirky rpg that is one of my favorite nes, snes, and gameboy adavnce games. If you havent played the Earthbound/Mother series, you should try them out. It would be great to play this as a port to the Nspire cx :D. I think the game wouldn't take up much space on the handheld because most of the original 28 megabit cartrige was made up of the sound. If anyone could do this that would be EPIC! Thanks again guys.

Emulators are great ways of reliving your childhood memories. I always look back on the frustration when playing difficult yet addicting games such as battle toads. I would love if you did a super Nintendo entertainment system emulator for it would be awesome to relive the bizarre gameplay of my favorite SNES game, Earthbound. Keep in mind that I am a loyal Nintendo fanboy, but if I were you, I would go with the emulator YOU want. I do not have much experience with the Genesis/MD but I am sure that there are many games that are just as good as the SNES. Keep in mind that many people like to have the convenience of save states so that will be important. You should have a team to help you with it for I know many other snes emulators (zsnes, etc.) required many people for programming. There are probably many people on this forum or others that would love to help you with programming. Although the programming would be hard, I would prefer the SNES super FX games and any other versus the blast processing of the Genesis/
MD. Anyway have fun programming this emu! :)

General Calculator Help / help with a nover crash
« on: August 27, 2012, 08:04:03 pm »
I wanted to experiment the full cpu power of my calculator so i overclocked it and put the cpu frequency on my calc all the way up to make gpsp run well

so it did run very well but after i turned it off for a while and turned it back on, i realized that it had crashed, losing all of my roms and making me install the os back on and ndless

well i did that but when i put gpsp on and try to transfer a rom on my computer to my calc, it would only allow me to have one on the calc.

There are no other files on the calc except ndless and gpsp files and b4 i had many other roms that were on it

im pretty sure that it is bcause of the nover crash pls help!!!

most gba roms come pre converted at ti planet

heres the link Link removed then just drag and drop the roms into the same folder as gpsp

warning: download at ur own risk if u don't have the games in real life then it is illegal due to copyright laws

*edit* Link removed as it is against Omnimaga rules.
