Release date: Before Christmas GUARANTEED (December 25). Possibly by Thanksgiving.... (November 24)

If it's for thanksgiving (off topic : we don't fest this day in France) it's just in time :)

i never saw this.
I'll look into it later.
Curious, I've made a lot of ad :)
There's currently about 23 projects, maybe more in the next days.
And a lot of them are really good.

I was about to say the same thing
(you talk about robo-gun? It's a good project I think, but you're right, there's a lot of good projects in extended basic section)
But I can say the same thing too in asm section xD
Anyway there are 3 categories and 2 subcategories (in each category).
So there's in fact a lot of winners even if only 2 or 3 better project in each category got a prize (no distinction between subcategories).
(about prizes : there 6 graphic calc to win : 1 tinspire cx cas, two ti84+pocket.fr, three ti76.fr and probably Texas Instrument goodies for the 3rd places)
However, participating could be just for fun and glory :p

yeah, the site's in french and when I try to switch it to english it says Err 404: page not found
It was reported to the webmaster (deeph). Only one or two page are buggy, the other works fine...
This one seems ok : http://tiforge.info/zcontest3/?a=projets&l=fr&l=en
This one too : http://tiforge.info/zcontest3/?a=rules
Have you already a project parser padawan, or just an idea?

Up !!

Y a dejà beaucoup de participants (environ 22/23) et plein de jolis projets :)
Quelqu'un d'autre est intéressé...?

64
Haha grammer lovers here ... :)

I can't wait to see your project :)

65
Grammer programs are included in extended tibasic category...

So yes there's a grammer section but grammer programs are not alone :p

If there's a grammer program for competition, I could enter my grammer run!

Of course do it !!

The first version was just a program that was the interpreter
Grammer 2 is an APP that also acts as a shell and has other features (like a homerun and more commands and whatnot)

That's what I would know. So there's no problem just good luck and I think there's a good probability that you will win.
But there's sandpaper from Kerm Martian too ... great project ^^
But there's a lot of good projects in fact...

67
Wait a minute...
Are you talking about grammer tool ?
I'm wondering if there's not a problem with this rule :
Quote
The program can not have been published before the opening date of the competition, though its publication is allowed during the contest period.

Because grammer was published before august I think?
(If not, there's no problem !)
Is there really a lot of new features in the version you're thinking posting?

Publishing public release is allowed before contest only if the program is really unfinished (for beta testing purpose by example, or just for open source ideology etc...).

Maybe we could discuss it a little about it...

However, you can upload later the app/program and you can add as many images as you want in the description... :)

EDIT: it's seems grammer wasn't released before the contest period (8 september?). Can you confirm that zeda? If yes forget what I've said before there's no problem and just good luck (I'm not sure if you really need luck to win... :D)

68
aouch, and I'm participating in asm category :'(

Sure, I don't have a chance of winning, but hey, it'll be fun!
Yes, have fun is the most important thing :)

Cool, this seems fun! Is Grammer allowed to be entered? (It is the programming language) ? My first release was in June or July I believe. Otherwise, I can just try to make a Grammer game!

Of course, but you can do 2 projects if you want :p

Up !

Someone else interested in participating??
:)

The printed circuit board are the same as ti83+.
This is possible to put an ti83+ os on ti73 and it's possible to put ti73 os on ti83+ :)
But I haven't ti73 (because it only exist in US), I don't know really this calc.

In fact ti76.fr is a kind ti83 regular... Not a ti83+...
ti73 is a kind of ti83+...

I just have seen this topic...
And I've posted another topic here : http://ourl.ca/13269/247501;topicseen#new

DJ_O: Should I delete the other topic?
(maybe not because this topic is not dedicated...?)

darn it. I wish it was a separate grading D:
*Yeong haz no chance of winning against gravitar
There's _at least_ 2 winners by category... (and I'm looking for more prizes currently :p).

Quote
I think 82 games are competing against 83+ ones, though.
But technical challenge is a part of the grading :)

You talk about asm 82 game?
It looks interesting because 82 asm is slightly different of 83 asm which is slightly different of 83+/84+ asm.
And 82 speed is limited, technical challenge is bigger :)
