TI-BASIC / Basic Subroutines« on: April 14, 2011, 11:32:41 am »
I was writing a program, and I decided it would be easier to write with subroutines, so I came up with
Code: [Select] .Sub call to 0 But the sub call being still like 3 lines when it's "compressed" onto one line is almost as long as the code I wanted to put in the subroutine. Can anyone think of a smaller way to create a subroutine call in basic? 183

Netham45's is a QR-Code reading "The Game", and graphmastur's is a picture of L from the anime Death Note. And Juju, what's with the list on the left hand side?
EDIT: SORRY, graphmastur, I haven't read it. GOSH! ![]() 186

Can mine be a tree randomly growing somewhere? =P And I vote for java, and with java, you can sign your own apps, no special certificate needed, it's just if you want people to see it's "verified by a trusted source" vs "verified by omnimaga developers", you need to get some big name to do it for you =P

My idea for T-Shirts (see attached images). The back would include a lot more names in a slightly better spiral in the final. I listed them in order of posts, and I figure people can opt out if they really don't want their name on there for whatever reason. And I probably should Kerm about using the Ultimate calculator in the design, but he wasn't on when I made this =P
EDIT, umm wow, i didnt expect them to be so large. I'll upload them on my site then link, hold on... ![]() ![]() 190

Unamed MIDI like Axe music notater - Never got far with this, but I would love to continue it sometime
Secret game of secretness - Planned game for a contest, barely ran out of time, still haven't got around to cleaning it up Axe shell thing - Just for fun, because there's like a million of those, I work on it every like 1000 years Some sort of calculator regex engine (Prototype in basic, final in axe) - Coming along pretty good until I accidently RAM cleared the 3rd version. It's so daunting to retype it... I'll do it someday. Simple HTML viewer - Some might remember this from the early days of Axe. Yeah, I was planning on making it 100,000% better, but that depends on the previous item =) TFE - Being recoded in Java, going to be less lame with more utilities, was put on hold for 5TD, still haven't got around to starting it again. I'm sure a lot more, but I start so many things and drop them, that I can really only say those have any chance of being continued =P 191

Computer Projects and Ideas / Re: 5TD« on: February 13, 2011, 05:35:10 pm »
Umm, yeah, the 5th level *might* be unbeatable, as it seems the person who was making the maps didnt know there was a limit on the height and stuff, so he made it necessary to be able to go slightly outside the map to jump onto that top platform at the end of the level. So if you make it to the top of the spiral stairs, consider it beat =P

TI Z80 / Re: C2I - the future?« on: February 13, 2011, 05:31:12 pm »
I think you should seriously consider continuing it for 2 reasons, the first being as you said, it is fundamentally different than gCn, in that is more an Internet connection deal, while gCn is more just a way to extend Cn to more than just a LAN, with indirect consequences leading to being able to be able to access internet resources if the server endpoint is configured correctly. The other one is the fact that you plan on having some sort of app, but also an includable version for developers, which, in my opinion outweighs having to have the weight DCS if you really are only using for that one program which might not need DCS otherwise. I could be wrong though, if that all sounds uninformed and stupid, please disregard

shrear, yeah, though we didn't present the "4d aspect" in the best way =P
DJ, did they? thats odd... I probably know why =( And yeah, a song plays every 3-4 minutes, not timed to levels =P |
