News / Re: Omnimaga Programming Contest 2011 Part 2: TI-Nspire poll and judging starts« on: August 25, 2011, 05:52:26 am »I tried all of the game. They were all fun to play, although the graphics in the "Nyan Cat Game" were hard to see on the grayscale screen of my Clickpad TI-Nspire. The ClickPad/TouchPad grayscale screen is just crap... You're going to have the same problem with all games featuring moving sprites on a non-blank background (check the NES emulator for example). Upgrade to a CX and try again, or use a Nspire emulator! 1070
News / Re: TI-BANK and Revsoft temporarily unavailable« on: August 21, 2011, 02:37:23 pm »Yeah I'm glad the contest is still going on. Good idea, but... Redirections on Free.fr web sites are fobidden too... (I've read their rules yesterday) 1071
News / Re: TI-BANK and Revsoft temporarily unavailable« on: August 21, 2011, 07:26:08 am »oh no.. I'm just coming back from holidays and I wanted to know the news in TI bank, and.. Yes, there is no reason to cancel the contest as it was hosted on 2 websites and http://www.inspired-lua.org is still online. You can still send your project to [email protected] - the email is still working... for now. 1072
Other Calculators / Re: TI-BANK...« on: August 19, 2011, 06:40:20 pm »
Oh, Mic might not be innocent...
Remember he has written to TI-France, Jarrety (approved french TI dealer) and even Free, complaining about me stealing his passwords, although he gave the site to me, and then removed the news saying so... I wouldn't be surprised if Free was getting many emails, and had just processed Mic's email and taken a closer look at TI-Bank's huge content this morning... Baka! 1073
Other Calculators / Re: Official RS232 adaptator photo and much more!« on: August 18, 2011, 03:56:09 am »
Adriweb told me TI was ok for those photos and others photos.
Maybe TI changed his mind for some reason, or maybe Adriweb misunderstood something... But you know? Sadly, there's much more untrustworthy than TI... 1074

TI has just asked for the official RS232 adaptator photos to be removed from the TI-Bank news.
If you still have them in cache, you can keep them but you should not share them publicly again, or Adriweb and/or me might run into some problems. Thank you very much, and sorry for the inconvenience. 1075
News / Re: OS 3.0.2 downgrade now possible with DowngradeFix« on: August 17, 2011, 04:58:41 am »
On non-CX calculators, you can send a TNC/TNO file through RS232, but it is checked the same way.

News / Re: TNOC for OS 3.0 and how to downgrade from 3.0 if you didn't use TNOC« on: August 16, 2011, 05:24:05 pm »Huh? The only screenshot I see in the tutorial is of WinRAR. Did you use WinRar to send the file? The TNOC tutorial doesn't deal with Boot2 reflashing. I've made several tutorials about that. Check this one for example: http://ti.bank.free.fr/index.php?mod=archivesac=voirid=3507 1077

The program I used is mentionned in the tutorial linked from the article, with screen captures.

Other Calculators / Re: TI-Nspire OS 1.8« on: August 15, 2011, 06:33:04 pm »Was there ever an OS 1.5 by the way? I think there has been. It's mentionned in this thread (3rd post): http://groups.google.com/group/tinspire/browse_thread/thread/438a723b8e4471bc/0d5fe4bac87c0a9a?pli=1 1079
Other Calculators / TI-Nspire OS 1.8« on: August 15, 2011, 05:45:42 pm »
Thanks to Adriweb, here's the first photo of the TI-Nspire 1.8 OS, proving that it did exist.
It's the 1.8.0 CAS OS running on a basic TI-Nspire: http://ti.bank.free.fr/index.php?mod=news&ac=commentaires&id=1286 Seems the different protections can be bypassed with developer OSes and/or calculators. |
