you can also open an "unencrypted" tns file whit the software if you have a 3.0.1 version of it, then re-save the document and you have a lua file who works on 3.0.2
Which also slows down the development of your program... It's quite annoying.

Yeah send them to 3.0.1, upgrade again then resend to your calc. It's a major hassle if you only have one calc, though.
And if you have to do all this each time you want to test the latest modifications to your script...

Up to now, you could take 2 different Casio calculator models (any model except the ClassPad) and transfer Basic programmes between them. (of course, if some Basic instructions weren't supported on the receiving model, the Basic program would not run correctly)
On recent fx-9860G models you could also transfer add-ins (applications).
How about the Prizm? Does it still have the I/O plug?
Can the Prizm be used with a different model to receive/send Basic programs?
Can the Prizm be used with a different model to receive/send add-ins?
Thanks.

Don't expect it to be online in a few hours, according to informations made publicly available in the official french forum.
The tests took more time than expected, and the OS has to go through the validation process (which is long with TI: one week to remove the 3.0 OS...).
The person who wrote about this was mentionning next week, or even the week after.

If it was the CX CAS, we could have checked if the OS had the same CAS bugs as the ClickPad/TouchPad one...
Could you take a photo of the dock connector?
Are the booting screens any different? Could we have a photo/video of the booting?

Well, so far, on the tinspire group, the people have actually been pretty courteous - more so than in previous occurrences
Strange... Are you sure Nelson is ok? Maybe he had a heart attack when reading this...

Since the 2.0.0 OS, the reset button does only trigger a reboot and doesn't remove any of your files in ROM any more.
It's understandable. Without this button, some people would have had to remove a battery and the rechargeable battery in order to trigger a reboot, which would have required a screwdriver.
When you press the PTT combo, the calculator does reboot. So using the PTT combo on a basic Nspire with an OSLaunched CAS OS reboots in PTT mode with the installed basic OS. You won't be able to use CAS any more, and you won't be able to OSlaunch again before exiting the PTT mode.
