Your settings seem ok.
You get no bootlog in the terminal ?
How did you plug the TI-Nspire? May we have a photo?

Boot2 1.4 can be downloaded here: http://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=4614You then need to send it to your TI-Nspire using a software supporting the Xmodem protocol. Ancient Windows versions used to come with HyperTerminal (removed in Windows 7 - don't know about Vista).

Most Flash z80 calculators cannot be hard-overclocked, because the clock generator and CPU are inside the ASIC. TI-84 calculators cannot be overclocked this way for this reason. Only early TI-83+ (hardware revision F and older if I'm not mistaken) can be overclocked, because the clock generator and/or CPU were still outside the ASIC. Yes, indeed (so that's reducing the range of HW revisions of CLickpad to pre-A (nothing shown after the date), and possibly A and B)
A is confirmed to be flashable after the hardware mod. I've got a Nspire hardware revision A, sent to me by Lionel. pre-A models need the hardware mod too. The only unknown remains hardware revision B.

A Boot1 flasher for Ndless 3.1 has just been released: http://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=10069Beware: flashing a bad/wrong Boot1 image will permanently brick your TI-Nspire.The flasher will only work if your TI-Nspire is using an external SST 39WF400A Flash-NOR chip: - TI-XXXXXXXXXXX DVT 1.2 prototypes - TI-Nspire DVT 2.0 prototypes - TI-Nspire (1st hardware version) - TI-Nspire hardware revision A (2nd hardware version) * maybe TI-Nspire hardware revision B ? * On production TI-Nspire using that chip, you'll have to perform the hardware mod described in 1st post in order to make your chip writeable. In theory, nothing bad should happen on models or hardware revisions which don't use that chip.

OK, it appears that keeping these features in beta has caused some drama Yeah, I was surprised to read that strange idea here some weeks ago... here's a new release.
- implement CAS+ emulation (just enough to get the OS to boot, so I could test dumpers before sending them to critor... this wasn't really intended as a public feature, but someone on the mailing list wanted to see it and now that word has gotten out I can't really remove it now :p)
- implemented sending files via XMODEM (mainly for CAS+ prototype OSes (1.0.3xx/4xx) - each one needs a different header so /PO= won't cut it - but works for any model)
* critor feels concerned :P Great! Thank you very much - at last! :) Let's start the fun now ;)

Answering to myself. Here is Adriweb's TI-Nspire CAS ClickPad hardware revision E: Only 2 chips - we won't be able to reflash the Boot1 which is inside the ASIC. Seems like TI fixed that exploit very early, and we should have released many things years ago. TI-Nspire ClickPad hardware revisions E and later won't be flashable. So, we now need to check TI-Nspire ClickPad hardware revisions B, C, D. Thanks. Edit: now from Excale, a TI-Nspire CAS ClickPad hardware revision C (P-0308C). It uses the new hardware: new ASIC reference and no Flash-NOR chip We now need someone with a TI-Nspire ClickPad hardware revision B. But apparently it seems that only prototypes and first production models manufactured in 2007 will be reflashable.

It seems that not all TI-Nspire ClickPad will be reflashable. Hardware revisions 'A' and earlier (2007) are. We thought that the Boot1 Flash-NOR was moved into the ASIC when TI-Nspire TouchPad were released (back to school 2010). But cncalc.org has opened a TI-Nspire CAS ClickPad hardware revision 'I' (2009) and discovered that the external Boot1 Flash-NOR was allready missing. So hardware revisions 'I' and later (2009) aren't. Could you help us determining exactly the set of TI-Nspire ClickPad hardware revisions whose Boot1 can be reflashed? If you own a TI-Nspire ClickPad revision B-H, you would just have to open it and tell us or take a photo. Thanks. Source: http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=10971

If SpiroH has the right, according to you, to use other's work in a non-mutual way, then the others have the right to stop updating, temporarily (if a new licence has to be chosen for future updates) or even permanently.
Absolutely correct! But then nobody can complain that SpiroH doesn't use this 'new' updates! How should he if they aren't released?
The very last version has not been released and it's a pity - yes. But I've never said that previous versions source code wasn't available publicly.

Lionel gave the link to the updated source in a similar topic.
Where? Can you provide a link?
All I've read from him (at least in the kArmTI thread) was something like "If you (SpiroH) don't give us your sources we'll not publish new nspire_emu source anymore". Just childish ...
Please, do *not* treat us as childish. If SpiroH has the right, according to you, to use other's work in a non-mutual way, then the others have the right to stop updating, temporarily (if a new licence has to be chosen for future updates) or even permanently. And I'd really like to see the next nspire_emu version released. It's wonderful with CAS+ emulation and RS232 input support! That very last version remains private for now (build and source).

fhub But why don't you use the latest version of nspire_emu ?
Well, it seems you're missing one important point: where is this 'latest version' of nspire_emu???
Lionel gave the link to the updated source in a similar topic. He got no reply. It seems you missed that too.

Indeed, VTI's source code is outdated, which is why critor indicated that it's closed-source (for practical purposes)
I never found any source for the latest VTI 3.0 alpha, which was the first version to support the TI-83 Plus Flash memory. A major improvement over VTI 2.5 beta, and sadly nothing more ever.

I've never expressed myself clearly about this problem.
If we sum up things, we have a developper who does benefit from the work of others (open-source). But no developper can benefit from his own work, as he turned open-source into closed-source, which is a total heresy to me.
I've been in the TI community for years (less than DJ_O or Lionel Debroux though), I could see many things, many projects start and die.
Why is VirtualTI dead today for example, although it was a reference years ago? Because it was closed-source, and because the authors stopped updating it.
Why was nDoom updated to a color version although Mrakoplatz left? Because he shared his work on the source code.
This behaviour here has nothing to do in the TI community, but might be welcome in other communities. When you benefit from the work of others which is freely available, sharing your modifications/improvements is just showing respect towards the authors.
This was my own opinion - I won't bother you again with that.

Update:
The keypad mapping is completely messed up. Only Menu, esc, tab, enter?7, 4, 1, 9, 6 and 3 are working normally. Doc key functions as Home when pressed, and the real Doc key can only be triggered by Ctrl+Doc. (This resembles the Touchpad 1.x Downgrade problems reported at http://ourl.ca/8505). The touchpad doesn't work at all and several keys are mapped to Clickpad-only keys, such as Cos showing up when B is pressed. Yes - for some reason, your TouchPad keypad is considered as a ClickPad keypad.
