TI-Nspire / kArmTI - TI-Nspire emulator with skin« on: May 21, 2012, 05:08:55 pm »
Hmm this actually looks pretty interesting.
You should be able to insert inline pictures with [img][/img] tags. 138

You can buy both for a bit above 100 dollars. Nspire still enjoys Lua Programming, so it still has some programmability. Casio development is probably a bit more active on Cemetech though...

Right now I just use some images, but they're tiled. I just realized that the picture is simple enough to just use rectangles! Yay!

Well, here's a version I put together with some sprites. It looks pretty nice, but the program runs noticeably slower... Any ideas on making it faster?

Lua / Re: Transferring Lua Projects from Calc to Computer« on: May 19, 2012, 02:49:15 pm »
Thanks, jim. The only thing is that I have to add all the new lines, but that is much easier than eliminating everything else.
Btw, I dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows XP. Current method to put Lua file from Calc to Comp. 1. Install ndless. 2. Use TNS2XML by excale to turn TI-Notepad document into two .xml files. http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9295&p=124483 3. Send the problem.xml to your computer. 4. Use http://bwns.be/jim/xml2lua.html to delete extra stuff. 5. Add newlines and check for correct code 6. Done! Edit: A few < and > were dropped off. And the sprite had \\ instead of \ in many places. 143
Lua / Re: Transferring Lua Projects from Calc to Computer« on: May 19, 2012, 12:04:47 pm »Thanks! That's pretty cool. So now I have the XML file on my computer, but the source is caught up in all sorts of nodes, leafs, words, and whatnot. Is there any easy way to clean up the XML just to get the source? The link I gave talked about that two posts after : How exactly do you use that script then? Drag and drop? Terminal? 144

Lua / Re: Transferring Lua Projects from Calc to Computer« on: May 19, 2012, 09:45:53 am »Here is the working scripted dumper for TI-Nspire basic 3.0.1 Ok Thanks. So basically, all I do is put it in a bash file and then run it after I launch my document in nspire_emu? Well, what about TNS2XML Um ok. TNS2XML sounds interesting. 147
TI-Nspire / Re: Runner [subject to change]« on: May 19, 2012, 09:12:46 am »Sounds pretty cool. Are the stick-based graphics due to speed issues or are you planning to switch to sprites/tiles in the future for buildings?Yeah, the graphics are going to be upgraded sometime... 148
TI-Nspire / Jumper [subject to change]« on: May 17, 2012, 09:40:31 pm »
Well, Lua development certainly has slowed down a bit. Anyways, I now introduce my latest project,
Hiscore actually works with this program. I have been programming on-calc, so the program is being run on nspire_emu with oclua. I'm probably going to add a better, moving sprite. Dimensions are 10*15 if you're interested. Screenie is attached and suggestions are welcome! Edit: I just noticed how choppy the screenshot was. It's not actually that bad in the game 149

Could somebody explain how to dump the nspire_emu memory? Thanks 150
