TI-Nspire / Re: nspire Linux Questions

Vog, I was hoping the solution to the problem would apply to everything.
Say I DO get USB working (hypothetically), what would I have to do to boot into it? and is it possible to start from the initrd and then boot into the drive?

Well I've tried what you've suggested and I just can't seem to get it to mount. It may be a problem with my kernel, drive, (I've tried multiple), or even my newer calc model

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Features Wishlist

I honestly don't think this will be included... Because it's not really about Axe.. But you already have an amazing compiler right here. I think it may take an entire extra App Page, but...
Do you think one type of compile could be made for Axe code (traditional) and then have another feature to compile pure Ti-Basic or library'd Basic into pure ASM, so it runs faster (not interpreted) and it can still be.. ya know.. Basic..?
As you said, this has nothing to do with Axe, and that entire app page you are talking about will most likely be a separate app, rather than part of the Axe Parser.

Also, that is not the fact that it is interpreted that makes TI Basic slow. Look at Grammer, it is interpreted and still very fast.

I just thought Basic could be faster. I'm just nowhere near skilled enough to do it, and those that work on Axe are exactly the people who could.
Meh, it was a request none the less.

DJ_O, yes. To get it to work, different computers just need to play with the settings. Try to be as minimal as possible, and use the software that isn't entirely new, ya know, just keep with the times, not ahead of them.

Hayleia, it's just great ain't it? :)

Okay well I type mount --help and it prints a huge block text. My dad has tried to set environment variables to allow for it NOT to print it all at once, unfortunately it doesn't work. Bleh

This is a very helpful little thing! What about encrypted highscores with a webapp to decrypt them? :)

I don't sit on the piano anymore, either.
It hurts me to hear it.

Will, I understand. I've broken a few strings on a well-made piano, so yes I felt like a truly dedicated pianist :)
My hats off to you, my friend! I'm relearning how to play piano as we speak, and that's why I don't have any newer videos. You can probably tell that I do not have the ease or mastery you have. But I do have significantly more potential and capability, and determination. You're looking at the next Marc Andre Hamelin :)

I'll update the polls! You're certainly going to win, and in fact I'm voting for you. :)

This is a bad example, but it's what I was listening to.
I was thinking Death Waltz.

If you want, I can arrange a Touhou for 8 hands, and we can get together and do this. Note: It's really only fair to do it for 16 hands, but I can do 4 parts. :) I'll sacrifice for the team! haha
