anyway, im happy that you are getting a good reply here, it shows how great  people our asm programmers are. Maybe someday i will be clummped in that same catagory.

wow, this is alot farther off than i had originally anticipated. who is the other programmer? its pretty interestig, i dont think i've ever seen someone make a game and then need it to be programmed... this may be a first. if you still need someone in a month or two, i guess i could help, i dont know how much help i would be, but ill know asm by then. though from what i hear, learning asm and programming anything useful in it is a big difference.

goto revsoft and download wabbitemu for w/e comp you run, you should be able to figure out ss's from there. just run your program and hit record

this is cool, i like when these guys come here with a sick, already nearly finished project. like the guy who had the castlevania, its probably the best way to join a community.

anyway, this looks so sick. i'd help but i dont know asm very well, im learning though

i gota learn how to do them dual layer acii graphics. is there a tutorial anywhere? also approximately how fast are they? i dont really like to make tb things like rpg's (not to say i dont like to play them:) ) its just not my style for some reason. if dual acii speed is up to the challenge of rt games then i would like to make something with em. Also the sprite data base might be a problem. IDK i'm just invisioning like 6 new rpg's coming out with all the same art. thats really the only problem i see, other than that it sounds like a great idea.

no, they just need a beat whether its visual or audio is up to the game maker. having said that i would suggest a little metronome or somehting on the screen somewhere

i agree, now image that instead of 50 hours he put in 900+ like he did in ROL3. then image that instaed of people hinting at it, they outright say it sucks all the time. after all that. you should be able to see why he'd be a little on edge and unappreciative of even small comments like that.
maybe hes sensitive but more likely is that hes on edge.

cool! i like it, the maps and stuff look nice but i have to say, im not a fan of the character sprite for the guy :Ptongue.gif , i tried making some of my own, they werent much better so i guess i can't really complain. i did get some decent sideways ones though, if you want them then ill gladly post
