TI-BASIC / white circle?« on: October 12, 2007, 03:39:00 pm »
i was trying to make a game and i ran into a problem, i need to draw a white circle but i cant figure out how. i figured that the whiteline rotated a bunch would look dumb so i was wondering if anyone know any other methods. i am using xlib but i dont think that that has a circle function. So, any ideas?

TI Z80 / Implicit: Graphic Engineer« on: October 12, 2007, 12:29:00 pm »
thanks for the info, i was confused. i thought gscale usually worked by showing 2 images real fast. now i see what your prog is doing. but wouldnt it be easier to display one sprite over the other? or is there a specific reason you have it doing it that way.
theres a label error whenever i press clear, thats what i was referring to i think you said you fixed it but i cant remember. thanks for the explanation, i see whats going on now. 156

this is a really cool engine, i have a question though. whats going on in the gscale section??? i press like delete and it does some wierd crap then i press alpha and my stuff disapeers and mode does something too i think, can you explain it here or in the readme because i am confused.
one thing you could add (probably already are) is an are you sure when exiting instead of an error msg. the error msg is nice and i can see where you were going with it but i think there are more important things (jk btw but not about the are you sure) also another place where this would be handy is pasting stuff. i kept accidentally pasting over my spot one sprite when i pressed paste it immediately jumped to paster and pasted it right there. also i think that you have everything you really need in your engine, also, the size is managable which is great. i think any other additions should be modular, (text sprites for example) which will keep the size the same. 158

Computer Usage and Setup Help / some computer questions« on: September 23, 2007, 12:00:00 pm »
okay, ive bought everything, assembled it all and my computer runs fine every time. however, i still have a few questions regaurding the opening sequences.
1) everytime my comp turns on it displays this screen where it tells me which devices were found and whats gonna be master/slave. now this is fine, but it wont go past this part and actually start booting up unless i press f1. is there anyway to disable this or even better to make it so after 20 seconds it will go to the next thing (OS selection) 2) is there a way to make it boot up a particular os. like everytime it goes to the dual boot screen and will stay there untill i select an OS. i want it to either to not ask or to move on after a 20 or so seconds. i thought i'd be able to find this stuff in the bios but i dont know what most of the things in there are and im afraid of messing something up real bad. so any help? thanks. |
