well you understand what i mean tho, an intro that doesnt have the main character included or in harry potter's case, conscious. so you know more than the main character

yeah, dreams are a bit cliche, you could always try an intro like in eragon where the main character isnt actually noticing it (the dream part) but then events from it affect him so YOU know whats happening but he doesnt. idk, have you read eragon? try reading the intro somewhere, actually just read it all, then read the sequel then wait for the final book and read that, they're real good.

TI-BASIC / Programming help« on: April 25, 2007, 01:26:00 pm »
actually to be blunt matrices suck. most good programmers will tell you to use strings. for example, you can change a 60 element string into a 10x6 matrice with a little ingenuity and multiplication knowledge. basically to get the element you want you just take the x position (if you think about it as a matrice) and then take the y position and multiply that by the (width - 1) then add those 2 together and wala you have turned a string into a matrice(x+y(W - 1)). the only problem is you cant have decimals but on the upsidde, they are faster, lighter more flexible and can store almost anything you can input into the calculator. (if decimals are a problem use lists)

TI-BASIC / Sprite Masking« on: April 25, 2007, 01:09:00 pm »
well i cant really give you any code but basically (assuming you have no clue what it is) you create sort of a cutout of the sprite where the body of where your sprite would be is white and the rest is black. then AND that onto the screen after the backround, this clears all the pxl's inside the body of the sprite. then just OR the actual sprite on and you are good to go.
...i CAN give you a program with basic masking and little else but i have no clue how get that to you. wait no i see it, leme get it up for you. edit: it was in a group in my calc, sorry about being lazy (i left the other progs with it), it uses xlib, just run "sprite" (assuming you have xlib) and select the first option and your good to go. Also feel free to use anything in that package. its all pretty mundane and i'd rather it be put to use by someone than let it stew on my calc. 308

alot of my friends have 84 SE's (me 2) so space isnt really a problem. and basically everything on thier calcs basically came from me so they usually use what i do. i dont think anyone has heard of crunchy (cept me) over here because i need to be able to lock/unlock stuff.
