TI Z80 / Re: Memory Checker
« on: June 05, 2011, 03:46:38 pm »
Hmm doesn't DCS already do that? ??? I could be wrong, though, as I only use it for running stuff. I know MirageOS displayed the free RAM and arc, though, although on SE models only 6 digits for the arc memory fitted.

It would be nice if this could be made as an axiom as well, so people can maybe display that info in their game.

DCS indeed does that if you hover the memory icon, this was more  of a program I made to practice, and it's results are more accurate than DCS's (the archive ones), due to Runer112's routines, instead of using a Bcall.

Nice desktop ya have, why no blocked task bar though? :P

The background is cool, but I was more intrigued with the icons and the OS.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Which Axe version do you use?
« on: June 05, 2011, 02:40:57 pm »
0.5.3b for two reasons:

1. Easier to develop axioms for it
2. ++ and -- ;)

I fancy ++ and -- too, and I use 0.5.3 too, although I guess not too many people use it because of the 16bit/16bit division bug.

So, what Axe version do you use?

I don't expect many people to use the old versions but I still decided to put them in :)

Vote and discuss!

Axe / Re: Problems using GDB
« on: June 05, 2011, 02:22:51 pm »
Hello

i'm having some problems with the game i'm making. I'm developing a bubble trouble for the TI 84 plus and it runs very smooth.
I've compiled it to play without a shell, and it works. But from the moment i open a random game from mirageOS, some parts of the game (the collision detection) suddenly don't work anymore. It also happens when i compile it to mirageOS, Ion or an app..

I really don't know what's wrong, so please help me... :)

btw, i'm using GDB1 as data storage and about 10 other variables, maybe this is the problem?

Thx

This topic should have been created here since it is not related to the Axe Parser Project but to the Axe Language.

Also, posting your code would really help us help you.

  • Full Screen Applications
  • Total control of the calculator with code
  • Much faster

These are just some of them.

Whoops, it appears i got triple ninja'd. I was agreeing with Spyro.

But as Lionel Debrouxl said and correctly, they'll never remove Lua. Do you still not want ARM?
What's ARM?
Please forgive my noobiness. :P

ARM is the name of Assembly (and I'm also including C now) for the NSpire processor.

"Hack" as in "void the warranty"? I have nothing against these two programming languages, and many of the games so far wouldn't be possible without Ndless, but I'm just fine with Lua.

He means hack as in unlock the calculator to make it run Assembly programs. Do you have any idea of how Lua is limited when compared to C and ARM? That's why most of us think that Assembly is needed.
