***BUMP***

Does anyone know how to do this?

Something I'm wondering about is why they chose to add a 0D compression requirement in 3.0.2, blocking all of our Lua programs, but then give us a method to create 0D-compressed files so that we can use Lua again...

Because they had no idea we'd find out about Lua and even hate them for blocking it and C and Asm.

Colored names aren't worth the weight.

I totally agree, they're IRC Clients Sugar.

Today, Linux Mint has announced the release of the version 11 of Mint, code name being "Katya", following "Julia", Linux Mint 10.

I tried installing it with no luck, so I'll way until uNetBootin's next update including this version of Mint.

Have you tried it, will you try it?
I'm staying in 9 on this hardware unless 11 is worth the weight.

I'm using 10 and will update as soon as I can, I like to update Linux distros :D

If anyone could make a checkers game with AI for the Nspire using Lua, that would be amazing.

I'm also interested in a copter game for the nspire :)

OmnomIRC Development / Bringing back OmnomIRC v1
« on: May 26, 2011, 02:07:54 pm »
Netham45, is there a way you can bring back the old OmnomIRC even though it used more bandwidth and was slower and had less features?

Personally, I prefer an OmnomIRC version that works with #omnimaga, rather than a fancy OmnomIRC that is an online private chat. I'd really like it and since I know you're very busy to fix and develop this one further, I suspect it'd be easier to just bring back the old one or an earlier version of this one, back when it worked.

I really hope you can do it as it is making me a bit confused sometimes when people are talking in OmnomIRC and I use XChat and can't read conversations.

Thanks for your attention Netham45.

To all the others, state your opinion please.

TI invites us back, but should we go to the dark side?

Why not? There's no way we can be harmed :)

Welcome to Omnimaga :D I really hope you like this place, and I'm hopeful you will since you're a programmer, like most of us.

I've got some experience in Android (Java) and computer Java too. I've also developed in Nspire-Basic. So you can see I hope you have stuff in common with other members too :)

News / Re: SirCmpwn demotion
« on: May 26, 2011, 01:23:50 pm »
We at Omnimaga are sorry to announce that, at least for the time being, SirCmpwn is no longer a coder of tomorrow.  However, this is not necessarily a permanent decision.

So is he going to be Anti-Riot Squad or Member?

It's bad to hear another admin has been demoted, even if temporarily. Will we know the reason for such demotion?

Best wishes to SirCmpwn :)

ON an unrelated note I realized I think we got about 4-5 staff who are from China/Korea or had parents that were born there (and it would be 5-6 if jsj795 was still in the team). /me wonders if this means losing the game more and more in Chinese

Genolo also lives in the USA :P

I saw the video of this and it really looks awesome, as I've said told to Kerm, I really hope more cool games like this are developed by Kerm ;)
