So me and Jim went to play (since we're both European and there was no lag!!!). I hosted it and jim and I played together, it was fun, but I kicked ass :P

Here are the screenshots of one of our games, we also played against other people as a team, and we, of course won lost repeatedly.

This is me scoring Jim

It's Jim's turn to start the game

This is me scoring Jim again

Jim scores a goal.

The menu.

Chasing the ball!!!

It's a tie!

That is pretty darn fast. Great work ^^

That was my primary goal in writing it. I wanted this thing to go as fast as possible. Although, I did get it down to about 4 fps with a space filler that filled the entire 160x160 with zebra stripes. It collapsed in on itself and the entire board was in chaos running at 4 fps.

Is that at 15MHz? Also, I never understood the game of life :(

Nice job, though, using Mimas to code games looks cool, I only use it to learn.

Yes, it's at 15MHz. There's no reason to use 6MHz because of my huge RAM requirements. I just added in a save state today, so now I'm up to 19KB.

I prefer not to use Mimas because I feel the small screen will end up leading me to make small games, but if you don't have time at a computer, it works great. I put out like 3kb of code in 4 hrs on chess, whereas this thing is only up to 1kb after 3 weeks.

Yeah, ASM Code is indeed long but Mimas has a label assistance.

Hi, I'm new here, but I know some of you from TI-Basic developer portal.  Its nice to find a community that's a bit more bent on games than Basic in general  ;).

Welcome Builderboy, never seen ya around before :D

Khavi / Re: Java on the Prizm
« on: May 08, 2011, 08:59:40 am »
I've decided that a slight change of name is in order. The project is now officially the Khavi Virtual Machine Framework.

This name change is prompted by the fact that I have now added support for the instruction set of the Lua virtual machine. This will be included in the default release and will allow the framework to emulate both stack based and register based virtual machines.

So is Khavi a random name you invented?

Math and Science / Re: Cool math hacks
« on: May 08, 2011, 08:55:05 am »
This is a Maths hack. However, it was taught in Physics (and it's related to Physics).

My teacher gave us this formula:

The result is always positive. However, it is sometimes negative, but due to the modulus operator we have to know when it is positive or negative by looking at the context and values.

I thought this was stupid and came up with this:

W = Qf - Qq

This gives us positive or negative values when positive or negative and works just fine.

To calculator efficiency we just have to do:

n = (|W|)/Qq

n is efficiency.

:D

Updates:
New OS entry point (Both elegant and early)
Solver++ and Long tokens are gone
Toggling options actually changes things during the current ram session (as opposed to waiting until a ram clear)

Ooh, so OS 2.71 MP helped! Nice!

Soo fast and very good, I also like it how you can shoot for both sides, right?

Can you shoot up and down?

Awesome, I still don't get it how you make this things in Basic.

Are you using Windows? Perhaps an OS that consumes less RAM would be better... (just trying to guess).

Hot Dog, I just went over Lesson 5 to say this, and I don't think so, it was written as a lesson, not as an appendix and that is clear by reading the text :)
