I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. If it is, please move it.
I called it Project DreamPad. It's just an idea, a concept.
I was inspired by the TOcalc project. After I've seen that project, I wanted to make a pocket PC-type thing. I decided on a device for programming -- a device that had a small full QWERTY keyboard on it that would have interpreters and IDEs for main languages (C++, ASM, Basic, Python, etc. Maybe even HTML?) so the programmers could just put the program on their DreamPad and write programs on the go!
Still debating on the shape, should it be a tall rectangle (TI-84+ shape) or shaped like a TI-92? Or all touchscreen?
I'd use keys for coding, not a bloody touchscreen I would like it if it were 84+ like, QWERTY included. Coding programs on the go would be awesome. For example, I don't think you can code Android Apps in a phone, but it'd be pure epic.

I highly doubt that post was useful, avoid making posts in non-spam forums with only a smiley on them. Either way, I tried cleverbot.com today and it was very good. I have no idea how to code something like that and I think it's capacities are awesome, but I expect some developments *EDIT* Me: What's up? Bot: The ceiling. Hm...

Do we need Allegro?

when you press up or fall you accelerate.
Just that physics is gravity, collision, acceleration, etc. I have some physics, I'll try to make gravity and movement better by implementing acceleration, but that's pretty tricky

Do you mean a 3D tic-tac-toe?
No, he means what's described in this picture: People move in the small grids, and winning in a small grid creates a mark in the corresponding big grid. Winning in the big grid is the game.
WOAH That sounds like a good idea I merged both topics.
Also a NES emulator would probably be a bit hard, because it's a different processor to emulate than the z80. The Game Boy processor was closer to the z80 so it was easier to emulate.
That said, as Yunhua98 points out, you should start with a smaller project if you are new to TI programming. Mario is a huge project to undertake and is not recommended for anyone that has less than one year of programming and when I say one year, I really mean non-stop.
Hey I have been programming for almost a year
Personal experience: experience doesn't mean that much.

sounds good! It would make it really challenging if you added physics to the game though.
Also, I love the obstacles.
What do you mean with Physics? :S

Wait, he seriously died?
Yeah, the US army killed him. I saw this on the news earlier today, less a terrorist to kill

next time please think a bit on how to solve the problem before wastin my time. i spent like 7+ years on it and ended up completley FAILING! if you think about it for just 7 nano sconds you\'ll notice that it is wrong. dunt be like gabriel carol and make wrong asummptions about polygons.
You should definitely read the rules, like shmibs said, and that was a very rude comment. Please apologize to Freyaday.

EDIT: Also, on another note, I will be without internet for from May 9th to August 29th, so if I don't respond, that is why Also, if for some reason I cannot come back to college, I might not have internet for a long while after that.
I didn't know about the part when you may not be able to come after August 29th It's still a lot though (if you return to college).

Yet another new version! Got some pretty big changes here, so hold on tight. Gravity strength is no longer modifiable. Diagonal gravity! (Mess around with it and you'll see what I mean) 9-1 now control gravity as well. Think of them as a set of eight arrows. 5 Zeros out gravity. I may change this depending on your input. 0 flips the direction of gravity. Note that it's kinda finicky about this, so you have to press it really fast. Friction has been removed. Trust me, it's a good thing.
Where can we find it?
