KnightOS / Re: KnightOS
« on: December 11, 2010, 08:51:50 am »
Update
Up until today, the kernel has been split half and half between Little and Big Endian.  When I first started KnightOS, I was a bit confused as to the meanings of both, and ended up using Big Endian for everything.  But about halfway through, I became less ignorant, and started using Little Endian, because it is the standard.  However, I never took the time to go back and fix the old stuff that used Big Endian.  Today, I fixed it, and with that...
The kernel is done!
I feel that the kernel has been fleshed out completely.  The image I had in my mind 7 months ago for the kernel is now sitting in front of me.
That means that all that remains to be done before the developer release is the filesystem, and several small OS programs so that it is usable on-calc.
This is excellent news! I'm very happy to hear that the kernel is completed. Congratulations Sir! =)

Kernel was finished *sniff* *sniff*

However, his mean (not cheap, mean in American English) parents won't let him code more :'(

I think its 30,000 to unlock.  Although the second one is harder, the fruit falls more slowly so you don't get completely overwhelmed.  The last mode is my favorite one and wasn't in the original Pyoro, I invented it myself :)

I wonder what it is. Soon I'll hack the Appvar xD No, I prefer to play it all.

Those work, but bloody IE doesn't support coloring text with normal CSS. It's not that big of an incompatibility, though.

There's nothing worse to IE's non-compatability of HTML 5 at the moment. HTML5 for the win, but not all browsers support it ALL yet, but IE doesn't support ANYTHING!

Check this. IE sucks.

I still use them from time to time when I post a large image that ends up too large in PNG format but looks terrible in GIF format. For pixel art it's not recommended, though, because of the lossy compression.
Yeah, that picture is almost like 52353462 levels of gray now... :P
OVER 9000???? That's impossible!!! ::P

Yes, .jpg addes images 999999*10^9 grayscale levels

What's that? Your post was a quote?
It looks like he accidentally his text inside your quote.
This, that tends to happen with quick reply because the text area is small. X.x

Then have you considered making it a few px larger?

I would say 20px larger would be cool enough :)

In the US, you can't call the cops on your parents [while you're underage] unless they've done something to physically harm you. Basically, most of the prevailing law here takes the position that if there are no permanent marks, there's not much that needs to be done. Even clear cases of emotional abuse are very difficult to prosecute here.

Except in the case of sexual abuse, where it is altogether too easy to prosecute people. I remember hearing a story* of a couple getting a divorce where they both wanted to take their daughter. The mother had the bright idea of accusing the father of sexually abusing the daughter. The ONLY reason the man didn't immediately go to jail was because he had documentation that he had been on a business trip for the entire period during which the sexual abuse was supposed to have occurred and couldn't possibly have abused the daughter. She still got the girl, though.

*I've never bothered to source it, so take it for what it's worth.

In portugal, if a children blames anything whatsoever, he'll get parent-less in a few days. Maybe in the US they understand that parents need to be strict for the society to be a good one. Here they don't, they give the children too much and when they're adult they won't know what 'difficulties in life' are :S

well, here he is. is there anything different you would do to him? pretty soon i'll get him a running animation.

I would make the head corners curve, probably 'cos I prefer it that way.

Nice job, though. :d

Flames will engulf the blue spirit of destiny
Hope surges onward to the burning blue sky
[Epic guitar solo]
As we dream of solitude, we soar through
The night embracing blue, our spirits drifting
Oooooooooonnnnnnnnn
[Guitar battle]
Blue lobsters fly with me into the blue and yes.
Hurricanes will destroy the Eeems in us all
Darkness awakens the intrigue of coders
To see the unending cherry flavoured dragon!
We are forever searching Rick Astley's game
For someday, cats lost will and decided
Therefore squirrels will eat Limited Iambians
And await homestyle food, lobsters born amongst
Aaaaallllll!!!
[Drum/Guitar Battle]
Bleep bloop
I wish goatse would be forever champion the regime

The Axe Parser Project / Re: CALCnet support
« on: December 11, 2010, 07:14:18 am »
Yeah, variable reallocation will be available next release so it should be compatible with CALCnet.

Also, I think you mentioned on Cemetech that the On key detection was not working?  I though the same thing initially because I was using wabbitemu which for some reason does not recognize the on key when I press it.  But I've tried it on hardware and it works correctly.

ON Key works perfectly Quigibo, don't worry. However, I think a new version of WabbitEmu should be released allowing us to press the ON key too :D

Yeah that would be a good idea, but for the contact form you will need a good anti-spam.

I had never though about that! I can make a contact form easily but an anti-spam? I'll have to google for that.

Nice Scout! I think I got around 31000 if I remember, which was my best.

Probably in the first level, the first level if I tried maybe I could get 50 000 points, but the second one you have to use yer tongue instead of bullets/seeds which is deadlifying hard!!

Yeah I noticed. Try to not upload stuff like quadratic solvers alone that were done many times before, though. :P

There are more matches for Mario than for quadratic, according to ticalc.org package manager, though.

Maybe do it separately with each people? It looks like it's the only option... X.x

I agree, because there is not a single time that matches everyone, it seems :S
