Gaming Discussion / Re: Professionalism in Calculator Game Playing« on: December 10, 2010, 10:43:53 am »I have played TVF more than 10 times and I'm writing a walkthrough. Will that count? If I knew what TVF was xD Well, that seems to count 4700
Gaming Discussion / Professionalism in Calculator Game Playing« on: December 10, 2010, 10:27:17 am »
The other day there was a thread concerning professionalism in calculator game programming.
Now, here's my thread of professional calculator game playing. Could there be anyone who is addicted and does preparation and thinks about Calculator Gaming like this guys? In games like CubeRunner I am very addicted and bet with my friends I beat their records or they beat mines. However, I only play it in classes, no home gaming. Also, I have never tried speedrunning or stuff. Discuss. 4701
Art / Re: 64xXX Humanoid Sprite« on: December 10, 2010, 10:21:25 am »Quote OVER 9000? That's impossible!!! So, this is what he said xP Yes, we were exaggerating 4702
Computer Usage and Setup Help / Re: Anti-Virus« on: December 10, 2010, 10:19:58 am »Lol. Keep in mind this is Microsoft that is saying that, though. They do make up a lot of stuff However, I can almost believe that IE is safer on Windows, since it is connected to Windows itself, HOWEVER, this can also make it more easier for hackers to get to the OS 4703
Other Calculators / Re: SirCmpwn's Projects« on: December 10, 2010, 10:17:29 am »Every single one of my projects is on hold indefinitely. You all have my parents to thank. Oh my god this is terrible!! Okay, here's the basic idea: This is even more terrible! Quote No KOS! This is so sad When I saw the title I thought it was a topic to post all your projects since you have a few. I'm so sorry 4704
Art / Re: My Website Calculator Page Icon« on: December 10, 2010, 10:15:11 am »I hope it doesn't flicker too bad and NOT like a 86 or 89. Epillepsy, much? No, never. I need to add a sidebar or a menu bar, since it's hard to get to the pages. I also need to make a contact form, which is quite easy 4705
Art / Re: 64xXX Humanoid Sprite« on: December 10, 2010, 10:12:16 am »OVER 9000? That's impossible!!! :I still use them from time to time when I post a large image that ends up too large in PNG format but looks terrible in GIF format. For pixel art it's not recommended, though, because of the lossy compression.Yeah, that picture is almost like 52353462 levels of gray now... What's that? Your post was a quote? 4706
Metroid: Chozo Mission / Re: Metroid Chozo Mission« on: December 10, 2010, 10:11:32 am »
[offtopic]
Well, I see Ti-DKS that you almost exclusively post in your topic, I think you could check the rest of the website too, very interesting. I mean, if you have time, if you don't it's OK, but really find some time [/offtopic] 4707

tiDE / Re: tiDE Team« on: December 10, 2010, 10:09:30 am »My schedule is pretty regular, here is my week. All times are GMT-7, or Mountain Standard Time. I recommend a Saturday morning. 4709
Art / Re: My Sprites - II« on: December 10, 2010, 10:08:29 am »Oh right. The issue with such game is that it requires time and effort. It might discourage people from participating, especially that very few people here can make sprites very fast. I spent one hour on a 8x16 tree sprite, once. WOW! That's a lot, but the goal is not to make good sprites, but a story (we should be posting there and not here xD) 4710
News / Re: Ticalc.org gets POTY again« on: December 10, 2010, 10:07:40 am »Axe. If not, I'd've voted for Doors, but then a third of the featured programs are made with Axe... Just like me!! I think that Axe and Doors together allow me to do ON-CALC programming but Axe is unique and a shell, there are a few and I can always Asm( and download Celtic III and xLib. Since Axe is unique, I'm going for Axe |
