Thanks for the news, DJ
By the way, i didn't now that Ti-Bank was so long to load in America. I hope it's not too disturbing.
Sadly, I think it also have to do with Free servers being overloaded with sites and slow, because TI-BANK forums loads in about 1-2 seconds for me, sometimes 3-4 when it's slower. TI-BANK main site takes about 10-30 seconds per page over here. It's not just the english TI community that has a POTY, the French community does, too. TI-BANK Awards 2010 have just started and 4 programs were nominated per category: z80, 68K, Nspire and PC.

The TI-BANK Awards are different than POTY in the way that at least one math/science program, one game, one utility and no more than one program per author must be included in each category and the fact that all surveys occurs at once.
The surveys are available in the right side-bar at the bottom. You can vote until January 15th 2010. However, keep in mind that the website takes a long while to load outside Europe and sometimes you may need to retry later due to 500 Internal Server Errors. (like we had on 1and1)
Good luck to everyone nominated!
Everybody's having the same ideas...
Keep in mind that TI-BANK awards have existed for 4 years, though. They had their ideas for ages. Our idea was inspired from Ticalc.org and not really meant to be something original and new: it was simply to replace ticalc.org POTY if ticalc.org staff ever started to ignore good programs again like they did in 2007-08. Right now ticalc.org only does every now and then. Most of the time they feature good stuff. They just have ups and downs lately, which is why I sometimes try to push the alternate POTY idea again sometimes.
Oh, sorry then, I thought it was the first time. That's why we need Omniawards.

ztrumpet, fixed.
Also should I add a link to omni at the end? Or is that pushing it?
Are your friends (in the letter), us or real life friends? If us, link it. If not, don't.

That's possible with pidgin, and also in Gmail Chat: Video Chat
Lord, I wonder how old are you? (answer By PM or Email if you prefer) I am not interested in video conversation, only spoken. We could also use MSN

I prefer Gmail chat. Further I don't have Skype, but I have pidgin installed, so I can chat with an enormous buch of other chat types...
Well, Sir wants a spoken conversation, which I also prefer

So I officially joined the team yesterday. Today I went to the technical support of my school and they say they won't give out email addresses anymore... So I no longer can sign up to Dreamspark to get Visual Studio 2010... I should ask the technician in charge of the MSDNAA program to see if they have any VS2010 ISOs. They give out VS2005 and 2008 through MSDNAA but not 2010...
My school makes the whole package available for free download. Wish I could legally send it to you.
SharpDevelop is free

EDIT: no, main version still gonna be casio prizm
KOS will take a long time and I hope you are aware of that :S Don't plan KOS programs, though. Wait for Sir's announcements.
of course, I'm saying if I ever make a z80 version I would use KOS which I'm sure is gonna come out sometime in 2011
That's for sure, though.

Codeplex is precisely not that great (I'm not doing mere dumb Microsoft bashing), and anyway, it is far from having the recognition that SourceForge, Google Code or Github have
I just found out how that I can upload things I do using SharpDev to codeplex and it does it all alone. Really good.
