Oh my god! The original java game is epic! Love it, it's surprisingly awesome!

Good Luck of making a calculator version of it.

I would expect this to be an Asm game but it seems like it is Axe :)

I didn't know him, but I remember when Doors OS was still popular on 68K calcs. I also miss the newsletter and interviews. Maybe ticalc.org or Omni could revive it eventually. I know TsukasaZX/Subaru[G] was planning a TI magazine or something last Spring but it never really took off.

That would be very cool! I'd love to have a calculator newsletter.

In fact, I could start one, with the help of a PHP programmer and someone who is also interested, because I can't do it by myself, but I have some ideas

Yeah hopefully this programming activity will continue over next year.

What I appreciate with the new Omnimaga forums compared to the old one is that there are more active projects and the focus is on calculators rather than just off-topicness and randomness. On the old board, there were like one or two projects with new posts per day and about 8-9 topics in misc talk/randomness with new posts. Sometimes, on the new board, half of the first projects/ideas topic page has replies from today.

Everybody has their own little project. I joined with 0 knowledge on programming and a week later set my first project, Formulum!

EDIT: 0 CALCULATOR programming knowledge, I knew lots of PC Programming already

General Calculator Help / Re: My Calculator won't turn OFF
« on: December 02, 2010, 06:10:10 pm »
In 2007 I bought a TI-89 Titanium and the calc would turn ON by itself. If I turned it OFF it would turn back ON one second later, so the only way to turn it OFF was to remove a battery when not using it. I had to get a new one in exchange at Staples, since it was an hardware malfunction. I heard someone had this happening on his 84+ before, too.

I fixed my problem, though. The other day I thought this was happening again because I pressed Clear while using BaseCalc and it doesn't close the program, only clears the screen

Oh I know, I generally just set that in the options, or I just put the program in Start menu inside the "startup" folder (although idk if that still exists on Win 7)

EDIT: UPDATE! It just finished downloading! I'm gonna try to seed, now.

at the moment, there are 2 more seeders.

3 seeders, great!

Also, it is on Windows Startup, always uploading, baby!

Well I really mean drums like  in my song 1000 BPM to rule them all. Well... maybe not that extreme, though ;D

I never tried making a song with drums extreme and exporting to MIDI, I gotta try it, though.

General Calculator Help / Re: My Applications
« on: December 02, 2010, 06:05:02 pm »
I've noticed quite a few people today mean to attach files, and then don't. Usually, if I want to attach a file, I do it the very first thing after I write "Here is the file...". I forget less often that way. Not that I use the file upload form that much.

Not sure if you noticed, but DJ removed it :P It was illegal

EDIT: graph, you have 666 posts!

(...)It just got uploaded 1.5 years later.

The ticalc staff didn't accept it or you only uploaded 1.5 years later? Eitherway, I could not wait for such a long time :P

Wow. This is really hard.

Now I'm going to fail all my classes. :)
Try to not get your calc taken away or something! ???

It was taken away, by me! I only take them to Chemistry and Maths classes from now on and never play. If I do do anything non-class it's programming, probably Asm or HEX since they have more to do with Maths and I feel fair with myself

List of people from who you can steal the source

Not me, I don't have it.

Wait, it's a open source code:

You don't have to steal it!

These news are great!

It's also good to see if any Omnimaga user program wins POTY :)
