What you'll probably see is little things on other boards that are part of it...like the menu thing was my attemt at making a menu sysem that didn't take up a huge amount of space, or the character explorer which I've been using for months and it just occured to me yesterday to post it. The update may not come for a few weeks for all I know...but it will probably be an unfortunately big one...I plan on doing something like the mockups as soon as I'm done with the menus.
EDIT speaking of mockups...look what I found
:O Fail

The axe version did It crashed my nspire bad enough to need a battery pull. It crashed outside the emu.
I would assume processes could still crash the calc if they're naughty and have too much power, though, right?
So, could a ROM of KnightOS be legally distributed? I mean, the ROM's mainly used for the OS, and since this is going to be a free OS we should be able to distribute the ROM as well, right? Or, are there other copyrighted parts of the ROM that remain?
It's going to be source code, that's all I know, so I think ROM's could be distributed

Well, it is admitedly hard to prevent battery pulls, TI just isn't as 1337 as us and we should not fault them for it.
Yes, we are just too good

That's one of the great things about KnightOS. You would be able to leave that program and kill the thread, thus saving yourself the effort of a battery pull (and any of the data you have unsaved in other programs).
I mean, not even WFRNG needs battery pulls! Cast a curse on ti-os!

What? I just like the vampire dragon, so now (thanks again to squidget) I have a vampire/human creature as my avatar. I don't like all that Twilight stuff. Vampires should be vampires.
I don't like vampires or twilight stuff. I'm not a fan of non-fictional things, I'm very racional and serious, i think. This could be good, but bad too :S

Heh heh. New avatar to match my favorite dragon.
Don't you feel sorry for your other dragons?

If we were feature driven, we would not be Texas Calculators Programmers, that's for sureI still love this sentence, sad nobody commented it, though.

no you'll get the assembly text, for the most part. labels will be named like Label1, Label2 etc. the original source code may have had them as different names. also, no comments.
tHE comments things makes sense since spasm doesn't compile comments :S They disappear the moment you compile, so it's impossible to get them back

In my case I use them since I can access stuff faster than having to go through the start menu and I don't want quicklaunch to get too cluttered.
Ctrl+Shift+D opens Documents Ctrl+Shift+S opens ScoutDavid You can set stuff like this in Windows, I'm sure

Lol, sadly I don't really create music mixes much anymore, though. This mix from late 2008 was my last one. I wish I had some money to create real mixing and remixes with the appropriate hardware (turntables)
Anyway good luck with music making. Do you plan to make any faster songs, like http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ys/ys1_2/sounds/midi/darkfact.mid ?
I like that midi very much, I have to try changing the speed of my songs, making a faster classical/techno song!

You won't get the actual source code, just something that somewhat resembles the source code and results in the same program when compiled.
The numbers spasm creates from assembly text?

I WANT ONE ;__;;;
and eh, I think Misc discussion fits better...
I will wait for an admnistrator to give me his opinion. The one I borrowed was light blue, a bit gay, now I have a black one, with new keys! All my friends at school with nspires who were lazy to send Texas a letter requesting the keypad want it, and they want it for free claiming I got it for free -.-

That would only affect recompiled programs or new ones. Old ones would run just fine. It's the name that's changing, not the address
Oh!! That is okay. I think one day I'll set off and make my own Assembly, setting from the actual one. Do something like Axe, a new programming language, but isntead of having BASIC's syntax, have Assembly's.
