My favorite anti-virus right now is Avast. I have the free version and it detects most stuff.
I disagree that if you be careful on the Internet you won't get any virus, because if the server where your avatar is hosted gets hacked and files get infected, then you can get infected just by browsing legit websites such as Omnimaga, GameFAQs, etc. This is an example: http://ourl.ca/4281
MOST of the time, though, you won't need an anti-virus if you be careful. I also advise against paying for one. Why pay for an anti-virus software when there are plenty available for free that get the job done just as well?
The best way to avoid getting viruses is to not download any warez, never visit ROM sites, never click Google/Yahoo ads, never follow links in Youtube videos and if you ever get on a torrent site, uncheck any non MP3/OGG/WMV file listed. NEVER download a rar/zip torrent, even if there's a file list posted.
Those are good tips, indeed.

well....they're just...peanuts..
or maybe I could try to get an elephant like that, and then sell the elephant...
I recommend getting it as Christmas present, you can wait 22 days for it, can't you?

Okay, but I think I'll take the TI one... do someone know how to convert peanuts into euros (not dollars :p) ??
Sell them... But it's value is uncountable, it's not worth money, it's like love, it can't be sold!

It's in Axe I'M pretty sure. And if it was in ASM then he could maybe grab the hex. However, I typed 2400 bytes of hex by hand on my calc once (Codex) and I must say it's very hectic. X.x
wow, but he could mistake one digit and the calculator crashes :S

FRench ZIP code: 59 for the part of France and 3 numbers for the town. (...) Paris' ZIP code is 75000 and Paris' subparts are 75001 75002 up to 20 I think (not sure about this, never been in paris )
Did you just post your ZIP Code? I don' think you should do so, but I may be getting the message wrongly. If not, editing it would be safer

If you just use the Internet more safely, you shouldn't need an Anti-Virus software.
While that is generally a good practice, it doesn't always work. For example, I was on Wolfram Alpha a while back on a school computer. It was the first site I had ever visited on that account and yet, five minutes later (I hadn't switched sites), a virus pops up and shuts down the system. The IT guys agreed that it almost certainly came from that site and it was the first virus ever recorded on the school computers (which do have AV). Wonderful
LOLIn my school, there are AVG in all computers, but half of the settings are turned off and the protection is 'low'...

oh! Sorry for double post but:
SirCmpwn if you make source code public, I know a little Assembly and can make a translated version easily. Agree with that?
Translated to portuguese
There are Rules about double posting. Here, let me quote it:
3: The only time double-posting is allowed (posting two messages in a row in the same topic) is either if there has been 6 hours since your last post, 3 hours if your thread has been bumped out of the New Posts page, 1 hour if it's a project update or immediately if you need to upload more than 10 file attachments at once. Otherwise, update the last post using the "EDIT" button. It will be marked as unread for all members (altough it won't bump the thread).
So basically, you should have waited 45 minutes, or edited your post.
Waited 54 minutes as you just said in IRC... I'm sorry, and this time it didn't make sense at all...

I live in France (North of France, 59 is the zip code)
WOW, zip codes are SHORT in France! In USA they're 5 digits long and in Canada they're a mix of 6 digits and letters. O_O
Anyway welcome here and I hope you can get a new calc soon. I also hope that you stay around if you decide to get a Casio.
As for peanuts here they are:
Portugal ZIP Code example: City - 1234-123 The '123' was introduced 10 years ago, because before they were fine with the '1234' and the city.

Now that I know a little basic, I'd like a help from you guys. Using Mimas, I can program Assembly in calculator...
Is the syntax EXACTLY the same as in computer?
So...
#include "ti83plus.inc" .org 40339 .db t2ByteTok, tAsmCmp
VariableNameTest .equ 666 ThisIsZero .equ 0 B_CALL _ClrLCDFull ld a, VariableNameTest
add a, ThisisZero ld h,2 ld l, 154 B_CALL _DispHL B_CALL _getKey B_CALL _ClrLCDFull ret
I could do this?
EDIT: When I type this:
VariableNameTest .equ 666
it gives me 'UNKNOWN FUNCTION'

From my understanding it will be posted when he gets his SilverLink cable. I wonder how long it will take before he gets it, though. If he ordered it from Ebay that's gonna take a few weeks at the very best, that's for sure. I also hope it actually works. X.x
I personally have much less troubles getting my 83+ to be detected with a SilverLink than a serial one (black), but I get errors more often. I also got a direct link, which sometimes give me errors as well.
As final resort, ASHBAD ALVIN will have to copy the entire source code (and images) by hand, which is long (I did that before with The Reign of Legends 1, but from computer to calc, not the opposite).
My doubt: Isn't Pyrixx an assembly game?, so why does he need to get it from calculator.... WAIT, he made it in calculator using Mimas?

I kinda like it as well, although I notice a drastic change indeed after the intro. For some reasons I like the second part better, though. Both parts would probably fit well in a dark RPG dungeon (probably more a cavern). Now if only MIDI players supported reverb like on the SNES, that would be awesome.
Thanks much DJ! I like to get feedback from a... uh... DJ? The mixture between the saxophone (or whatever it is, I'll tell you later) and the synthethizer is the best thing to me

I get a multitude of errors such as "file not found" etc.
I think if something is busted it's the usb port. let me find another mini usb cable and try that first though. It won't let me get a screeny that way though that you mentioned.
So.... You have no idea when you'll finally post last version of Pyrixx?

You should see TI-Nspire OS 2.0 in 84+ mode after a fresh install. It comes with about 1.3 MB of flash APPs. It takes about 3 seconds to open the APPS menu and you have about 200 KB of archive left.
Which is good because that means it has ScienceToolsPT and CellSheetPT which I sell to my friends who have SE's or 84+ that don't include these
