Back on topic, why don't you ask Benjamin Moody how he made Mimas? I LOVE MIMAS!!!! (Sorry, overkill) Mimas lets you edit each line by itself, and it is surrounded by a rect. Check it out HERE.
Hm... In the overall, what is Mimas? I have no idea lol, gotta check the thread EDIT: Mimas is an integrated development environment for writing Z80 assembly programs on the calculator (no PC or other tools required.) It supports libraries, multi-pass assembly, separate code/data segments, a compact bytecode source format, an extensive library of built-in constants, and more. This version fixes a serious bug in the assembler (spurious "symbol-redefined" errors and occasional crashes) and some minor bugs in the conversion tools. :oooo Nice, downloaded

Mkay, I decided that I wanted to upgrade the functionality of my calc, so I added a bunch of apps. Because some of these apps mess with the calculator, I want to make sure that I'm not accidentally about to kill my calc or conflict with each other. I have a TI-84+SE with OS 2.53 and the apps I'm worried about are
Calcsys CtlgHelp DoorsCS7 (the latest one) Graph3 Krolypto MirageOS Omnicalc Symbolic Unit Ops zStart
Erm... these aren't going to kill my calc, are they, or ruin compatibility? That would suck pretty badly.
That being said, any other interesting apps/programs I should have on my calc?
Great, are you at school? Do you have maths, I mean?

Not only I'll try it soon, but this shall also be my guinea pig for Doors CS testing.
Yea, how's DCS7 treating you? It's been glitching and freezing for me. CS6 didn't work for me though, so I'm not exactly surprised.
Glad to see the difficulty is about right. I'll probably incorporate ultra-consistent timing through interrupts soon.
I may move to MirageOS now, Doors CS7 is cool, but only 6 programs per page, though. Not sure if that can be changed anyways.

Nice to see you contributing, ScoutDavid! I might use some of these. Do you prefer to go by ScoutDavid in credits or your real name?
Use ScoutDavid or David G., whatever Thanks!

Yeah it's cool that every single bit of USB stuff people know is being put together in one place. I am wondering if this wiki could explain the drastic increase in ASM program quality over the last few years? It has been around for 4 years, but back then it often got hacked or spammed by bots so people avoided it. Now it's solved and it seems to get more popular.
Well, my problem is that I'm not a fan of the link:
http://wikiti.brandonw.net/index.php?title=WikiTI_Home
I think you could have a domain for it only, instead of 'hosting' it in brandonw.net.
Make a poll with it to know what people want :S
The link to the Wiki front page is http://wikiti.brandonw.net/ , not http://wikiti.brandonw.net/index.php?title=WikiTI_Home . It will change to the last link after typing the first, but still remains the fact you can access it from the shorter link in the first place. A domain name costs money. It's very cheap, but life problems can happen and he's already paying for other domain names (such as BrandonW.net). If BrandonW ever lost his job for any reason and had extreme financial issues, then bye bye to the two domain names. Plus, the Wiki sub-domain http://wikiti.brandonw.net isn't that bad as a URL. It could have been worse, like http://s221544699.onlinehome.us/djomnisongs/ . I think it is fine where it is, now. At least it's online, that's what counts.
I think you should maybe contribute more to the community instead of always complaining about everything. BrandonW is doing a great job in the community. Maybe offer to buy a domain name yourself for BrandonW?
I know it is tiwiki.brandown.net, and that's what I meant to say, sorry. However, I suggest a free domain, sth like www.wikiti.co.ccWant me to get this one and to redirect to wikiti.brandonw.net. Agree?

If i am understanding correctly, all he did was replace
Line(X1,Y,X2,Y
with
Rect(X1,Y,X2-X1,1
Will try it right away, thanks.

900th post!
HAH, the Google WareHouse is great, but making models and uploading them is really cool too!

Heh. Can't wait for doing things with DirectX. If you find Blender hard, I think DirectX will be hard as hell. Like, you must assemble your 3D object with triangles in a C++ array, then put texture on these triangles. Fortunately, you can import pre-made objects from a file in your code.
That must be really tricky, unlike Google Skech and Blender, who usually don't use code. In blender, there is a coding screen, but I don't know how to use it

Wow, I should use this instead of GRUB.
Great to know you like!

Great! This can be very helpful for on calc dev.
When you fix that bug, which I don't understand yet, I'm gonna use it for sure!

AHhaha, just tried it: it doens't work. I confused '=' functions with '>' and '<' functions.
Sorry :s
Have you tried > or < either? IIRC you can't have any Y= equation with Y inside, no matter what extra graphing app you have installed. It wouldn't work anyway since it's not a function. And X= only takes single constant values. If you want to graph a complete X= equation, use DrawInv . It doesn't actually make a graph that you can trace and do other stuff with, unfortunately
Maybe someone in the community should make something better than Inequalz in Asm(, is it possible?

Yeah true. The worst loadings are when it doesn't say how much time is remaining and it takes 30 seconds, or even worse, a black screen with no loading messages. When possible, it's good to display an animation or do other stuff, but make sure it doesn't slow down loading speed considerably.
Exactly, some games make it cool to wait hah
