ooh, crysis in basic.  Might be hard to do, but I bet you'll do great with it :D

Maybe COD?

Hahahah

Anyways, I prefer PC programming than Calculator Programmming and i'm afraid I will stop calc. programming when I i finish highschool and go to med school :'(

Starcraft ;D

j/k, make sure to not start too big, lol, and do a lot of backups, even if it's just in BASIC. The TI-OSes can crash, too.

Starcraft? I was more into something like Crysis :S

Aah ok, yeah Omnimaga has been mostly about calculator games and calculator game programming. There was an era where it was exclusive to RPGs like Final Fantasy too. However, United-TI and CalcG.org became less active in the last two years and most people come here on Omnimaga instead. In the future, I think I will split the projects section so math programs are in their own. It will be easier to see them for people who need school stuff.

Good idea, then I should start programming a game, since I have an idea already

Well the issue is that Omnimaga is a gaming-oriented website, not a math program website, so it's inevitable that non-game-related programs will get less downloads. Such math program would probably get more attention on United-TI, TI-BANK or Ticalc.org, which are more general. One month ago, there was even the possibility of completely forbidding math programs in the projects section to not lose our focus on games. I personally no longer need math tools since about 2003, the final year I did maths. I only use my calc for games. On top of that, most people here got a TI-83+ or 84+.

Also, my Nspire is always in 84+ mode because I need it in that mode and I try to avoid swapping keypads too often.

'Gaming-oriented Forum' -  had no idea, though.

One hundredth post is one hundredth. Update will go up very, very soon.

General changelist from last version:
DEL now also functions as a restart key
Minor optimizations
Engine stability vastly, epically increased
Grayscale vastly improved
Saving and loading, complete with first screen like the original (New Game and Continue paths)
DJ Omni Memorial Pause 30 :) (I would have used the for but it would have been way too hard to restructure my draw statements, next update mebbe)

I ... se.... eee....
RESTART yay! Now I can play

I still can't get past the second level, though

Maybe a GIF of you doing it?

What do you mean by bouncies? Does the game stop running or something? I don't know how you could get stuck because if you look away from the screen for even a second you'll die and restart.

Edit:
ScoutDavi, I think you are talking about the wrong game. I think you mean The World's Hardest Game

No, in bouncies when you enter you jump really high, if you stay there jumping a long time you fall on the ground, right?

What do you mean by get stuck? That's sounds like more of a problem than a restart button.

Some levels you may get stuck, for example bouncies are only active for a few seconds, if you stay there too long, you may get stuck and have to reopen the program.

ScoutDavi, what do you mean by a restart button? It's disassembling really nicely so I think I'll be able to make changes.

And squidgetx, I totally know what you mean by the game going crazy, I'll have to look into that.

A button (example 5) that restarts the level, so that when you get stuck you don't have to reopen the game :S

Aww...I hate it when projects die :(

Excellent game tho, it's responsible for my C- in Physics XD

Well, without the restart button I can't play it.

PLEASSEEEE RESTART BUTTON, I beg you!

Act surprised.
Hi all! I'm JustCause. I've been programming in TI-BASIC for 5 years and have recently started making the transition to Axe. I'm also a pianist and, while I stopped taking lessons years ago, I have perfect pitch and as such can frequently be found playing Zelda tunes on the closest musical instrument. I'm a junior in high school, live somewhere in the Midwest, and have broken...hmm...*counts* 14 bones, not counting various fingers and toes. Stupid genetics.

I'm excited to be a part of the Omni community!

TL;DR: Hi.

JustCause, get on the restart button in Quantum Translocator =P

hahah, welcome

As a side note, if you ever have any problem creating a file from the code that you opened from a program in SourceCoder or any other error, you might want to immediately report the bug to KermMartian in his Cemetech topic, as he will get notified of it and fix it whenever he gets some time.

SourceCoder works perfectly.

It's just a shame that my TI-8x version was downloaded once and the NSpire version wasn't even downloaded :S

Does it not compile or something?

When you open Axe you see a menu, with Compile List, Options, etc.

When I open axe, I see a Menu( function, title is "Compile List" and then I can see all programs I have and I can compile them if I press ENTER. Whichever I try (even if they have Axe correct code) it gives me UNKNOWN ERROR.

Quigibo says he has no idea, but he must have made this Menu function and stuff in order for it to appear

That's really weird, Friday afternoon is when I come more often :S

Oh, the problem with Ping? Maybe it's only with that program. You should try it with this.

It's not ping, it's axe itself...

Ok then, Axe in my calculator is not working, so, mehh whateverX

Really? How? If it gives you an error of any sort, you should report that to Quigibo.

Reported already, but I don't know if he's going to do anything about it, since I'm the only one :'( :'(
