Yay! I've finally made a music topic! So, here I'll post any of my performances, arrangements, and compositions. I'm going to start recording the piano pieces I learn, and I'm gonna start to try to compose some stuff of my own. I do have one video already that I just finished tonight: Gerudo Valley (originally from Ocarina of Time)

After taking a long break, now I'm starting a new project and it will be made in Unity3d. (This one will be finished, unlike a few of my other ones ) So, as the title says this game is caleld "Escape: The Entity." I got the idea for Escape from Slender, and I put a few aspects from Slender into this game. For example, when you get closer to the enemy, the ambience intensifies, kind of like in slender each time a page is picked up. This game takes place in some kind of underground dungeon, where you have to return to the surface before you are caught by The Entity. You'll have to pass through many obstacles like puzzles and parkour to get out. Now, I present to you a preview video of my game! Note that the preview is obviously an early version; I just started about a week ago. Click here to play the pre-alpha versions if you want. (versions usually updated every day or two)

I just started making programs with nRGBlib and ndless today, so I'm a beginner with it. I started making Pong as my first mini-project and I now have a few questions. If anybody can answer some, I'd really appreciate it (Also i mention drawStr in this, and I'm not really sure if I'm remembering the correct name of that function ) First, how could the addition of this line cause my calc to crash? yvel+=rmov; Both of those are defined and have values, but I have no clue why that wouldn't work. Does it depend on the code around it or something? How can rand() work while using nRGBlib? It gives me errors. After I showed Levak my error (here),he said that there's a conflict between rgblib's rand and yagorto's one. So I guess that means RGBlib has a rand too? In nRGBlib, what would you use to display an integer? I only know of drawStr and I don't think that works for it... Also is there perhaps a %d thing like in printf? For the 4th and 5th arguments of drawStr, what do they do? Size? And so I can be clear on how to use RGBlib, is there some sort of guide I can use that says all the functions?

Does anyone here know how to make a minecraft server? I used this: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/E3000/Minecraft_Server.htmto help. I think I've succesfully set up a static ip adress, and I copied exactly what it said to do in the port forwarding menu. But when I checked here, it said the port was closed I tried to use my external ip anyways to connect to minecraft, but of course, it failed. (minecraft_server says "Disconnecting Epic07 [/192.168.1.1:61252]: Outdated server!") Is there anyone with experience with this?

I'm making mancala and in color for my first lua project I've got about 100 lines done so far, but I don't have any screenshots because I haven't made the game board since I heard ti image is extremely slow, and I fail at using drawing with drawRect, drawArc, etc. Here it is on wikipedia if you're unfamiliar with the game.I just started yesterday, so there isn't that much to post about it yet Once I'm able to find a way to make the game board, I'll add some screenies of The Game

Ok, I just got minecraft today since its really popular among my friends. It sorta seems like roblox, which I once got addicted to All I knew how to do was walk around and smash blocks, and eventually somehow die. Is there anything more to it than that? I hope so

Funny things that happened to you today! Today, My math teacher discussed the Side Angle Side postulate. "It always goes Side Angle Side spelling out SAS" "However, it has to be way." "For example, you can't do Angle Side Side. " "That spells Ass. It doesn't work" The class cracked up.

Grappler: Hook Champ for CalculatorThis game's kinda like Hook Champ where a guy grapples to a block above him and swings around through the level until a giant demon thingy catches up and eats him. Old screeniesEarly version of tilemap and enemy: If you've never heard of Hook Champ, this is what it looks like.

Im making a game where a guy has a grappling hook and swings from the ceiling. I had a lot of determination, but not getting the code right mixed with the annoying perpetual yells of my brothers has made me give up eventually. Every thing pretty much works. Except for the line that is the rope of the grappling hook (indented from croquette) If (getKey(54))*((H=0)+(H>40))*(B=0) ;Checks if ready X->S ;Stores X,Y, and Right/left to a new variable Y->T R->theta Repeat pxl-Test(S,T) ;S and T are the rope's top coordinates T-- If theta ;If going right S++ Else S-- End End ; That moves the top of the rope up and to an angle in the player's facing direction until it hits something ;Some other stuff End It later draws the line with Line(X+7,Y,S,T) Any more code needed, just ask. Help is desperately needed would be highly appreciated The problem, is that when the player is in the air and grapples to the ceiling again, S seems to fall behind X, instead of going in front of it. Also, sometimes it grapples to the floor, but that probably needs some signed << >> stuff to fix.

Statues is a puzzle game I'll begin making. You are a person and your goal is to guide 2 statues to their destination. If you go up, the white statue will do what you do and go up. However, the black statue will go down. Once you guide the statues to their destination, you win! Here's a screenie of the gameplay grid so far.
