You know, I'm trying to set this straight in my mind. When you have the 84 Plus Keypad, it normally enters 84 Plus emulation. Does Ndless change this behavior at all? I just don't understand why you would be able to add 84+ Keypad support at all.
If you take out a keypad in the middle of an ndless program, the calc doesn't turn of like it normally would, allowing you to switch keypads. However, doing this a lot will wear out your keypad connectors.

Ctrl+alt+arrow only works on computers with intel integrated graphics.

If we can straffe and move with arrows, wouldn't it become impossible to do both at once anymore?

Also I agree with shooting. Otherwise it's a bit hard to shoot, as we accidentally press the clickpad while shooting. I also agree with ON for quitting. Often I end up going back into the game when trying to quit.
Yeah, I guess that would mean no more circle strafing. Strafe running would still work, as pressing home+up or down would still move you forwards or backwards.

ok, well:
i tried to play on os 1.7.xxc with ndless 2.0 for 1.7, but the following errors occur:

1." FUCK! W_InitFiles: no files found"

2."FUCK! Couldn't allocate lumpcache"

and when i try to open it again, my calc crashes and reboots...

Nice error messages lol!

I am getting the random freezes on my calc like DJ has, but on the emulator, it doesn't freeze. Both are running Os 2.0.1.60

If the buttons aren't made like the ones on flexible keyboards, then it will be a disadvantage.

Best case: It'll be solved by tomorrow.

Worst case: The sun will have died by the time the solution is found using this method.
By the time the sun dies out, I'm pretty sure we'll have quantum computers.

nope, it's all software. ;)

and Doom is raycasted.
Even the original doom, running on pc's did everything with software.

Even $200 computer monitors have this problem, it isn't that big a deal. However, if you can somehow get a program to quickly turn on and off the affected pixels, they sometimes fix themselves.

Wow, the deadline is a little over a month away.
If I do something, it'll probably be in the computer science/math area, or possibly electronics.

Even better!

BTW, your respect seems to be at 69 :P
* fb39ca4 runs

EDIT: Here's a way to compress the video - divide the screen into 2x2 groups of pixels. Within each of those groups, there can be two colors (uses 1 byte) and four bits that determine which color is on each of the four pixels. Cuts down on size by 25%, but I don't know how well that would work out with rle. You could also do this with a 4x4 grid and four colors for 50% compression.

Oh, you mean gameboy ROMs. My bad. You have to change the file extension to .gb.tns or .gbc.tns Make sure you can view the file extensions in windows or it won't work.

I think there may be a simple method we have overlooked.  This isn't neccissarily the best resource, but this is a list of the top 500 known prime numbers.  Perhaps we can multiply them to each other until we find n?  I know it's brute force, but hey, it could work.
Th prime numbers used in the key are around 2^512. The ones in that list are much, much larger. Even if we found all the primes near 2^512, we would have a lot of work to do because by the prime number theorem, there is about 2^503 of them.
