o.O
Nice! Will it have any shading, textures, or just single color polygons? 1083

I was looking at an article about this online, and it said 3d graphing in grayscale is to be added to the older nspires. This makes me less hopeful

Brainfuck needs to be added to that graph.

I think it definitively needs something to hold it so it won't always fall, though.Well, the whole point of this was to make something that balanced on its own. My robot depends on the light sensor (the blue brick on the front of the robot) for determining how much it is tilted, and when I waved my finger under the sensor, it affected the values, making the calculated angle inaccurate, so it fell. 1086

Cool! I was wondering, would this work if the pattern was based on circles instead of squares?

News / Re: Nspire CX Officially Announced by TI!« on: February 26, 2011, 03:17:44 pm »I guess TI realized how much space their OSes took up I'm guessing it is really a 128mb flash chip, with 28mb reserved for the os. The 64mb of ram it comes with will sure be useful, though. I wonder if 3d graphing means it gets 3d rendering hardware?Wow, 100MB storage and 64MB operating memory. How generous, I was not expecting this. Also; It appears that some units will ship with a slide cover and some will ship with a screen protector. I am also glad that this is being advertised as their thinnest design yet, very promising. Unlike the prizm, this seems to have a normal lcd display with backlight, so the battery life won't be that great. 1089

I'm going to have to disagree with that, due to the lack of getkey and drawing commands in nspire basic, and the new menu system drastically lowers productivity. (For example, try switching between degrees and radians on the nspire.)

Can someone help me wrap my head around the I and D parts of PID loops? I haven't taken calculus yet, so I don't know what integrals and derivatives are.

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Hello World« on: February 23, 2011, 10:53:45 pm »Welcome! You seem to have a lot of peanuts already!Lol, I think my first post was complaining that the trusound program didn't work on my computer.Well the problem with axe is that your access to ports is very limited which could prevent you from connecting to the internet. But if I wrote a spambot in asm...Lol , but yeah it would not have helped either if your first posts were short, off-topic and cryptic. But your first posts were pretty fine so I was convinced you were a real member. That's unless spambots were trained to be experienced with calc stuff, though, then we could say Ashbad and Scout are bots.I wonder how hard it would be to create a spambot in Axe... Mwahahahahaha!!! no, jk It would be funny if someone wrote an on calcmapqmbot that used gcn. 1092

I hope the front isn't glossy, as hinted in the second picture. I hate the look of glossy plastic.

Minecraft Discussion / Re: Minecraft« on: February 23, 2011, 10:39:50 pm »Is it me or does Minecraft server really suck extremly bad? It seems like the author might not have picked the right kind of server and connection for such game. Plus I think some games use like 10 servers sometimes, anyway. The game is just too popular. Notch keeps on gettin better servers, and a while later, they too are overloaded. Also, you can install Texture packs in minecraft to make it look more old skool or modern. 1094

It works!
It is programmed in c, as the default firmware only allows for interpreted programs, which would mean the robot wouldn't react fast enough. However, there is still more work to be done on this, as the robot can not move around, if I try to poke it, it falls down. I might also add turning later on. Oh yeah, sorry the video is in portrait, I forgot to turn my itouch sideways when I took the video. 1095

Break in is just leaving the computer on for a while to make sure none of the components are defective.
