Boot1 immediately runs when the calc turns on, however, the nor rom cannot be very big, so boot2 handles decrypting the os.

We should've let this bot stay, and let it post in only this thread. Who knows what else it would have come up with.

Some ARM processors can run Java bytecode directly. I'm not sure the one in the Nspire can, but I'm not certain.
Yes, the nspire can. I remember there was java support in ndless 1.0 but idk what happened to it in 1.7.

Though it would be unlikely you would need to do that, remember, the nspire has 32mb of RAM, for TI's bloated OS :P

It's a power supply unit, a box you plug the power cord into, and with lots of wires coming out of it inside the computer to power everything.

I got a water bottle, a nail cutter, and a board game. [shrugs]
I did get an iPod touch on Halloween, though I'm not sure why my parents decided to get it then.

Casio Calculators / Re: Casio Prizm already for sale???

Yeah it would probaly be better to use a rom dump rather than actually coding the system calls by myself, but emulating the hardware of the TI-83+ such as the lcd screen and linkport will stil be challenging.
If you did code the system calls yourself, though, it would be a big accomplishment, as no other 8x emulator has done that yet.

Yup, DJ made that.  He did an excellent job on it. ;D

By the way, the thing on the far left is a wireframe Link made by Calc84 for the Nspire. :)
I always knew that was link, but I never knew it was for an nspire polygon engine.

Mine's 1FE, at the time of this post.

"A!!! A!!! A is for average! Must get A+!"
Sorry, couldn't help quoting that.
With my school's online grade system, all assignments get an A through F next to them, even when they are simple homework assignments with only 5 points. For some reason, my parents  think that getting an F on a single homework assignment means I'm failing the class.
