Could possibly go Through the dock connector.
Probably another unimplemented feature, like how there's a 24bit mode in the LCD controller.

I believe the i7 2600k is supposed to be $300.
I am going to build my own computer as soon as the i3 chips come out, which I hope isn't too long a wait from now.
@DJ: you might have to upgrade your PSU as well, gpus are very power hungry.

I know that there's C and ARM ASM, but there's surely a more-or-less easy programming language (easier than C :P )
Well, there's java, but idk how easy it is. If you can get a language to compile for arm, theoretically, it can be made to work on nspire.

Oh I see now, exchanging info during exams could be pretty bad...
Though how many teenagers nowadays know morse code?

Things like openSSH are secure, even though they're open source. TI even uses openSSH in the nspire.

Miscellaneous / Re: So who's gonna be around during holidays?

I'm around. Though I will be gone for a week a little after break ends, as my family is moving, and I need take some tests to get into a school. Then, my activity will drop, but I still have my iPod, so I can check in occasionally.

man too many of these incidents. I would be terrified at the thought of even holding a live gun (safety off) it might point in the wrong direction.
I've used rifles before in boy scouts, but a pistol seems more daunting, because you only have one hand and it is harder to aim. It would suck if you dropped it and shot yourself.

Lol, I thought those were better than the ones that come with my math textbooks, featuring mr. Burger.

The screen is the safest place to write to, because the adress never changes, and anything is allowed there.

Just watched the video. That is absolutely awful. It so looks like the guy in the middle was shot. I'm glad he wasn't, and no one was hurt.

Apparently, that guys wife (Not sure if he even had one) never worked at that school district.
He mustn't had mental issues then, as the school board did nothing to harm him or his wife. I feel sorry for his wife, as this is infinitely worse than just losing a job.

Since you have a clickpad nspire, you don't have anything to lose getting the cas+. Plus, it's nice to have two calcs, one for school and one for home.

Over here, in some classes, sometimes they gave us notes or books from the mid '80s. In English classes, during my 3rd and 4th years of hi school (2000 through 2002), our books were from 1987 and 1988 and in Biology, we sometimes had exams from 1984 and watched documentaries from the '70s. In math and french the books were from 1999 I think, though.
My math book this year is from 1980 : w00t:

Oh I meant christmas vacations.

At least I am glad you can actually post from your phone, though (unless that's gonna be taken away too? ??? )
To me it seems more like they're totally against calc programming. To me it's stupid because with calc programming you can get better at computer programming. With TI-BASIC you learn the programming concepts easily then learn to optimize like crazy due to limited language and platform, and with ASM you learn to code in low level where you have to mess with memory to do anything.
sorry this is a little random but,  what if your parents were made by TI, and then TI decided to restrict native asm?
O.O Made by TI? ???
Since when did TI make robotic parents ???

On a more serious note, calcs are a great platform to begin programming on because of the simplicity of the hardware. It's a shame TI locked down the nspire, because z80 hardware is kinda old. Then again, it got hacked, so no harm done.
