I have some nerdy interests - like this site - and I'm a freshman in AP calc - but other than that I am a normal person, so I fall under sort of. My school has a high asian population, like 30% or something, so naturally, there is a lot of nerds, though there are also a bunch of non-asian nerds as well.

My school's team (1899) is also doing the FIRSt, and Vex competitions. Me and two others are the only new members with programming experience >1 year out of the 40 or so freshmen who joined so we'll be doing programming , but we also get to work on building at first as there's nothing to program until the robot is built.

I know Just Cause 2 supports it. I actually want to get one so I can use it with Dolphin and Metroid Prime, it is hard to play that with just a keyboard.

Yesterday someone pulled the fire alarm and two fire trucks came. (Rumor has it they actually threw a rock at it and it went off.) It's a pity they did it after school got out, though

You can also try to get people to join the robotics team at your school if you have one. At least some of them will be on the programming team, and can learn from there. Then, you just have to tell them their calculator's programmable

ASM: You clear your RAM before you can shoot yourself in the foot. Minecraft: Your programs run on computers larger than the vacuum tube ones of the 50's.

No, because there are two pairs of two points each that will create tangent lines. If you mix and match points between the pairs, you will get lines that are not tangent.

Well, he said v0.8 (the original crashed), so I think it's something else.

Also don't forget variety. Have small twisting corridors and large open areas. For ammo placement, I would make them out of the way, but plentiful, as well as have enemy drops. That way, you can either focus on conserving ammo and take the direct route, or if you're like me and *have* to have max ammo all the time, you can do so, but with increased effort.

If you haven't heard, portal is free on steam until the 20th. So I would get it. 'nuff said. (If there is already a thread for this, I apologize, I just checked the gaming discussion section for one)

Oh, you have a clickpad? Can you try using the original version right after rebooting, when there are no documents loaded in memory? Also, try downloading from a different location, you might have a corrupted file.

I think that is a good idea as well, when a bad post is made, people tend to speak out about it anyways rather than just thumb down it and nothing else.

Hmmm I wonder if I can use my ipod as a boot server. I just need to find a way to use magic jellybean so I can get the school's WPA keys.

I want to run a boot server (that has a linux image) on one computer then connect an ethernet cable directly to the one I'm trying to boot.
