Publish my desktop would be useless (W7 vanilla), but my wallpaper is pretty cool, IMO (I must say, it's my work too!:p)

This sucks, I hope they did not lost too much and that you didn't too. 
However from experience, when an hosting provider gets hacked like this, this means they're not secure, and it will happen again and again, if not every week. So if this happens again in the future, switch hosts, and don't host personal info there.

English! No, seriously, if you want to program calcs, try Casio or TI BASIC. If you want to program computers, do either BASIC256 ( *flyingfisch nods to spyro) or QBASIC. Actually, Python is easy too, so maybe you could start there. I cant really talk from experience because my first lang was PHP, then Python, then QBASIC (just for fun), then Casio-BASIC, then Lua.

ClassPad supports BASIC games and also C++ if I remember. I also think there's Lua, although I don't know if it was ever finished.

Double post, but I think what happened to Megaupload yesterday (and the fact Mediafire/Rapidshare are most likely next) might convince you to not use those sites to store your site uploads, right?

Looking around it appears to me that SOPA/PIPA are dead(or as wikipedia says: hiding). the blackouts appear to have worked there is now OPEN which i havent looked much into so I cant say anything about it. Anyone know if this new one is as bad as SOPA/PIPA?
IDK much about OPEN, but if its like SOPA/PIPA in any way, we should be wary.
From what I've seen so far it is like SOPA/PIPA but with a little more beuracracy I'm sorry if I'm wrong but thats what I get from quickly reading over a descripition

I would now think so; he probably isnt even working on it any more. Unfortunately it appears this project in its original glory is dead. If I had the know how I would definitely try to do something like this. Maybe the community could come together to try and make this from what we know so far. there are quite a few people here with the tech know how to make it im sure.
I was really excited about this project. Yeah, if the community could get together, we could probably make it. "We have the technology, we can rebuild an uburcalculator!" Oh, wait, it was man, not ubercalc lol
