So our beloved Québec mayor, King Régis I, made a call for bids for the paintjob of the future Québec Nordiques arena. 3 companies replied, among them a Québécois.

The first one called for 3M$. 1M$ for cheap workforce, 1M$ for cheap paint and 1M$ for cheap scaffolds. The second one called for 6M$, 2M$ for the best quality of each of the above items. The Québécois called for 9M$. He said to the mayor, "3M$ for me, 3M$ for you and 3M$ to make the first company do the job" :D
lolol :D

Casio Calculators / Re: Pack all Addins for fx9860 and Prizm
« on: January 10, 2012, 11:49:54 am »

Were you able to fix this or will the opening of the site be postponed for a while?

Will be postponed for a few days until I can talk to the server administrator.

OK. Also, will we be able to link to external downloads without having it hosted on casio-scene? I know casiocalc.org file sharing allows that. :)

Just last Thursday, I got a pneumothorax, so they had to insert a tube in my thorax to evacuate the air out of where it shouldn't be. I immediately went to the hospital, then immediately got the operation. It was pretty fun though. Or else I was pretty crazy to find that fun.
No, I understand. Once they get you all set up to where you cant feel anything, hospitals are fun... until you get bored

It's probably be a localization app if there is one, and not much further than that :P

I wouldn't mind having one of these, if it weren't for the lack of a slide case and the extra ram.
Oh yeah. This thing NEEDS a slidecase.

at this time I have 2 problems:

max PHP upload limit -> only 2MB  (sollution possible -> contact the server admin and ask him to increase this limite up to 15/20Mb , but he's been very busy lately...)

and the server does not have the library installed to generate captcha images for registers,... (sollution possible -> search for another captcha extension that does not use images library, or contact the server admin and ask him to try to install it, but he's been very busy lately)

Were you able to fix this or will the opening of the site be postponed for a while?

Humour and Jokes / Most interesting experience you have had

Post the most interesting experience you have had.

Here's mine:

In august '11 I jammed my finger in a car jack and got the whole tip of it torn off. Had to go to the hospital to get a tetanus shot and to get it cleaned. It was Friday night and it had to be about the most interesting experience I had. There was a guy who got shot, but didnt want to file any charges, had no idea how he got shot, where he got shot or who shot him :D , a guy who got in a fight and had a different story every time he told it, and i guy on drugs. I got out at about 4AM. lol

BTW: I chatted on omnomirc with one hand anyway! :D

TI 68K / Re: DOA
« on: January 09, 2012, 11:32:21 am »
@Aaron you may need to ask in the help section and give info on what version and which screenshot making software you are using and which emu/version. Hopefully someone can help there.

Also keep up the good work :)

@flyingfisch blame TI's monopoly on schools. Teachers are sold out to Texas Instruments so students are almost forced to get a TI calc instead of a Casio. :( Also they aren't as documented as z80 and 68K calcs yet due to the much smaller community. Actually the TI-89 is facing the same problem now: Almost nobody program for them anymore, since TI is slowly phasing them out in favor of the TI-Nspire series. AaroneusTheGreat is probably one of, if not the only 68K ASM/C programmer remaining in the TI community right now.
ahh.

LOL, im probably the only active american programmer for Casio FX-9860! Just realized that.

No, I didnt make it myself, but I did do the apple logo :)

I set the desktop to show no icons and then used the folder view screenlet to get a KDE plasma-like desktop.
