They marked it as Triaged, which means they think they really can't do it, but it's been looked at Welcome to the world of Ubuntu development, when we mark as triaged it means exactly that, triaged for eternity. Gravatar has a lot of nice points, but the main one is that you can change your avatar on many different sites at once. It doesnt look like very extensive script. I know that stack exchange uses it, as well as a few other well-known sites.

Could Gravatar be integrated into the forum?
