Ah ok. I hope your interest towards calcs remains for a while.
Well, actually, the only reason I got back into calcs was because of the fact that there was that Axe competition that inspired TAO. Then TAO became a huge undertaking, so I stayed.

Interesting, it's nice to see some sort of alternative to command prompt but for all platforms.
True, but it's going to be difficult. I hope it turns out well. I've noticed a few projects now have taken interest in being cross-platform.

MSD8X does require the extra ram pages. I remember brandonW saying before that he was amazed that people got it to work on calculators that didn't have enough ram. I guess the only explanation would be if there aren't many files on the flash drive so that the different buffers don't overflow into each other.
I'm pretty sure page 87h is used for logging of files. I got a cable to test this stuff with now.

Oi vay!!!!! I'm in the middle of rewriting the command processor completely so I don't have to waste so much space repeating code. Expect another update midday tomorrow.
Alright. Posting this so you don't have to double post. I look forward to it. Although might I suggest having it more graphical with themes, and where you can type on the command line instead of a box under it. ;-)

This looks interesting. But wouldn't you have to change A back to 1 in there like this:
1->A While 1 If A=1 Then Change color to red 0->A Else Change color to yellow 1->A EndIf Locate 1,1,"HELLO WORLD" EndWhile

I don't think the SDK is available yet and there's no info about when/if it's gonna be released. I am glad the calc is not as locked-down as the Nspire in terms of programming, though. Although BASIC by itself is slow, the Nspire didn't even have programming until OS 1.6 I think and it still lacks an Output()/Locate or getkey function. I still hope for some other stuff, though, since in long terms, just BASIC might not interest that many people.
okay, that's fine then. Hopefully, we can program this calc better than the TI-NSpire.

I think he has been looking for in-depth info about the calc in the doc and some file formats.
I'm talking about binaries on a flash drive. Because that is truly amazing that he can do that. Also, Dj, congrats on getting 21,100 posts.

This is Awesome! Okay, so now FinalTI must give us everything. SDK, programming information, usb protocols, what's up with the little dude in the corner, etc.

Actually, I just thought how awesome it would be if Axe supported usb. Even if it was an axiom or something. But, it's such a pain, that I wouldn't ask for it, but would rather do it.

I don't actually remember which one I voted for. I think it was gbc4nspire.

I guess someone will have to explore the Prizm and make some kind of SDK until the Casio one comes :S
I've already been working on it for quite some time.

Finding a way to run unsigned code might be tricky... Maybe as tricky as the Nspire.
Doubtful. We will probably have some sort of access to the internal binaries because the Prizm will be viewed as a Flash drive by computers. Actually, let me see if I can do that with a normal flash drive...
EDIT: Yes, it's possible to access the internal binaries of a flash device.
How do you even access that? Tutorial? ;-)

Yeah I was kinda worried you would kinda vanish because last Winter you had like 3 posts on UTI and TIBD per month combined. Hopefully most of the current users remains active for a while.
I shall catch up on posts within the next few weeks, hopefully.
Yeah, I would get bored or have other stuff pop up. This is a more interesting site indeed. ;-)
