Can you make this support linking for USB calcs?

You ask as if that's something simple...
Oh, I know it isn't easy, and I would love to help with it.  I know IOKit for the Mac stuff for talking to devices.  I'm trying to get USB to work for the calc being a peripheral, so I would essentially need to have it use the ports.

But what I'm more curious about is having virtual calc to physical calc game debugging and such. That being something that I can help with. Actually, if the calc even connected to/created a serial port, I could do it.
Well I don't do dev work on the mac version only the windows. And I can gaurantee Will (our mac dev) does not have the time to sit down and figure out USB stuff. That said, if you can give me some documentation on exactly how to implement the USB protocol, I will look at what I can do. It will probably be like a look, this is impossible, awesome, next thing.
Well, I like Wabbit so much that I'd be willing to help. Can you branch and give me something to work with, or do you just want me to download the project and use that? I can access USB devices, but I don't know how to get the rom file (when usb stuff happens) to set everything up correctly with the ports. I'm working on it, though. ;-)

Thank you so much for the peanuts. You have some creative skills. I wish I had a sack of peanuts to contribute.
If you have a project (graphmastur=tao project) or something you are known by (Netham45=blue lobster with pink name, hence the blue lobster peanuts) then you can make your own bag of peanuts. It's not really an official rule or anything, but there is about 15 of them.

1163: When someone asks you what the 3rd row 4th column are on a calc, you immediately respond with "vars".

They are both the same thing. I think I'll try my own challenge later. ;-)

I wonder about how much those cats cost.  I know the sniper ones are REALLY expensive, but worth it. ;-)

No, there are some other updates as well. Also, Graph, what environment var should be used for Mac?
Actually, for mac a executable file doesn't necessarily have an extension. To have it run in a mac terminal, you would do "./<program name here>" or just the program name if you have it set up correctly.

UPDATES: check my first post and re-download the JAR. It should also work with java 5

It's the only update? (working both in Java5 and Java 6?)
Yeah, and I do believe it will work with Java 5 now. Although the version still shows 1.6.

Okay, using the source from earlier, I found that using PATHEXT is an environment variable only for windows. It will not work on mac, and will return null. Make sure you check null on ever little thing you do, unless you know it will never ever return null.

The nspire has a SD card? Holy crap, never knew that... and to add to this unconstructive post, no I sadly no nothing :(
I don't think it has an SD card. It possibly has the software to support it, just not the hardware.  We would have to see what the code does when run to see if it actually does anything useful or otherwise.

General Calculator Help / Re: USB8X/USB Link problems

On your regular 84+?  I think that usb8x uses extra ram pages, so it might be that you don't have them and therefore can't use it.

I have a TI84+SE without the extra RAM pages and USB8X/MSD8X works perfectly for me.
Hm.. Don't know then.  Maybe a little more information other than "it doesn't work" can fix this.  Remember that usb is fickle and strange, and that we don't fully know all about it.

I hope that eventually, we can have a program included that allows us to do pixel art?

Eh, I'm sadly not going to be the one to make it 0_0
I wish there was a way to say go through and click on the character that it was originally (say A) and change the sprite for it.  In this program, that is.

If you want me to take a look at it, send me your code. I can do file directories pretty well.
