Well, essentially, you create a cross compiler and it's just like using gcc, but for prizm. I had success doing this on my mac, but it was a little difficult. With windows, I believe you would need cygwin, but all the binaries are already compiled for you, so I would suggest that, and download prizmSDK-0.3 from this site: http://jonimoose.net/calcstuff/prizm/With *nix, you basically have to compile a cross compiler. I'm working on getting a topic up on how to do that.

gcc won't be portable, if I understand it correctly, because of the fact it's based on your host OS. However, I should be able to help you.

Yes, most likely SETI, which is done by berkeley, I believe. I don't remember, because BOINC is what most of the @home projects use, and it is good for distributed computing, and it is also done by berkeley.

No, nothing of the sort. They send your computer problems that would normally take a lot of power to do together, but have been reduced and sent to your computer. For example, they may not ask to fold an entire protein, but only a very very small part of it. They send your computer work, your computer does it, and returns the output. It should be safe, and I can pretty much guarantee transactions with folding@home are going to be encrypted in some way if they are important. Its fine, and safe to use if you want to try it.

True, we do need some good form of a disassembler. I know I'm currently using IDA Pro, but I really should just go ahead and write a quick one up. I have all of the commands, as far as I know. I should go ahead and do that.

I have both a NXT and NXT 2.0. Personally, I like them for different reasons. 1.0 has more of the longer bards, but doesn't have a color sensor or two touch sensors, which is useful. Also, 2.0 has several other pieces that 1.0 doesn't have and vice versa. As for software, my personal favorite is lejos, simply because I can compile and know how to modify the underlying firmware. As for which robot to get, I would suggest to build robots, I would suggest 2.0, especially if you want them to move about.

I don't entirely understand the question, but you can write one past the length of the list in TI-BASIC, and it will add another element for you. Does that help?

As for internet usage logging at least I'm glad his parents aren't going as far as SirCmpwn's, though.

That's why all the good parents log their internet usage to the bit. Now then, might as well say I kinda have been busy too, which is why I've been mia. I might be on HCWP tomorrow night if anyone needs me. Also, remember you can PM me. You know, nag me for project updates and such.
