Are you sure? Maybe not a mistranslation as in a grammar or spelling mistake, but a poor choice in NPC name in the sentence. In a game, if my french version had a character called Cock, I would try to alter the name a bit when translating that game to English. For example, the name could become Kockle or Khocke.
If it's not a mistranslation, then could you try to find any proof?
I AM COCK
So I definitely read this before reading the entire conversation. I don't know about games, but some animes have a translator that just kinda fails at english, but thought he could translate, so you get some.. . interesting results. Or, the company that translates it doesn't have a good way to say it, because it revolves around a weird word having a double meaning, which isn't the same in english. I remember one time in naruto having it say something along the lines of Naruto joining hinata's group, and in the japanese version, it used a TN, but in the english dubbed, it just said "will you be with me" which just sounded awkward. But yeah, translating from japanese to english is kinda hard sometimes, especially with puns.

This looks like an interesting project. Maybe if USB programming gets easier, a joystick could be added. (Does usb8x support joysticks?)

Dropbox seems intreresting. I personally used a folder on my webspace, but if I want a project to be top secret where the admins won't know either, that tactic won't work since they got access to the site FTP
ticalc.org has ftp? whoa, didn't know that. I don't know if any "safe" place to store it. I usually have it on a backup hard drive, but even that could get damaged. I guess you could have a svn. That usually works for code and such.

Not sure. I know in Oasis, we were going to use a table, but decided for those characters with an ASCII value, to use that instead. So guess get the ASCII value of the Char.

Right. Well, I will probably still check it out anyway, just to see how it looks like on-calc.
I'm not sure if it will be bootable. I'm guessing not, since I'm pretty sure he's releasing the kernel.
Yes, it's gonna be a very basic version, so that programmers can start developping their programmes. So that when it is released, it doesn't take much time to start publishing programs.
I'm pretty sure it was to develop things for the OS, like the y= thing, etc. Like utilities, not programs. Not sure, though.

1031: You get a derailed topic in randomness back on topic. ;-) 1032: You are excited because you posted a number that ends in 32 or 2^5 1033: You have a paper to write, but can't because you can't leave omnimaga.

Probably just with phones, or some other method to get us all talking to each other for about an hour.
skype works best. I'd probably just listen in on the conversation. I wish I could be on this team, though. I can test if you want, though.

Man, that GTX 580 is WAY overboard, j/k
The i7 looks nice. The Ripsaw ram looks like it has a good price for 4GB, the only thing I'm curious about is that tower. Unless you plan to do liquid cooling, I would go with a bit cheaper one.
Other than that, looks nice.

So, I wonder... How's KnightOS? Still think you can launch a Developper's/Beta version in 1 January?
I know he'll be able to launch the version by 1 January for a fact. I'm working on USB routines, so I know those won't really be in KOS dev version. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure he'll get it done.

Not the best fedora, but still a fedora. Minor edits made in the body too.
I think he needs to smile a little. He's wearing a fedora, he should be happy! Can anyone tell I like fedoras?

Ya, this was just a quick make of what i am planning.
In the future i will make it much smaller and better.
I know you can get an accelerometer from radio shack pretty cheap. Which gives me the idea of putting one into my calculator along with a piezo or small speaker. Then, when I run some program, or turn the calc off, it makes it so that if the calc is moved, an alarm sounds. Would be interesting. ;-)

 Humanoid 0.2
I'm liking the beard, but I think his hat needs to be a fedora. If you can pull a fedora off, then that would be amazing.
